Hi all,

I have an update. we got SA and AIP together yesterday!
and today I got a message in myCIC account for a telephone interview to finalize PS on March 9th!

Anyone here who has done a phone interview, what do they ask? and how will they give the CoPR?

I applied restoration and spousal inland. My restoration got refused , due to my passport was expired and they told me to leave Canada immediately. What gonna happened with my PR app? I passed medical last month me and my son. Please advice thank you!!

I will. But my passport expired three no way can’t renew it untill 6 month

Yes you need to take your passport to your landing appointment, it states that in the landing letter.

You need a valid passport to be in Canada if you are not Canadian or a PR.

My husband and I applied for spousal sponsorship and PR Nov 28, 2017. I got my open work permit mid March, but then things seem to have slowed down. Received sponsorship eligibility letter on Nov 15, and got a request for medicals just before that on Nov 8. By Dec 3 my medicals were received by IRCC. So, the process has already taken over a year. Can anyone tell me what to expect next and how long it may take to get PR?

I applied Nov 28 2017, got sponsor eligibility confirmation on Nov 15 and medicals request on Nov 8. Medicals passed now as per cic website. When were you called for medicals? I feel like mine was pretty delayed, 11 months after submission.

Do you know what the next steps are and how long they may take?

I did my landing interview today at Vancouver office，it takes like 5 mins，just a few simple questions，and sign a paper.

Congratulations! How long did it take between sponsor eligibility, medicals and the interview? I passed my medicals recently and we got sponsorship approval Nov 15. Wondering how much longer, its going to take...
