Any update on your application?

The agent said that immigration here is waiting to hear back from the Manila officer regarding my daughter’s application. It’s been 2months since I got AIP. My application is all done just my daughter’s stuff that they are waiting.

Too bad. Meaning I can't go back home to the Philippines this Christmas.

It means it’s over? What’s the next step?

Congratulations ! It means you are now waiting for your landing appointment. The timing is dependent on which office you are going to be landing at. We got ours as soon as we got DM for three weeks away. Others wait much longer ( like Vancouver for example ).

How long after DM does the landing office takes to contact you?

It depends on which office is contacting you, they are all different.

No not yet. They are still waiting to hear from the Manila officer. Once they get a response that’s the only time I get landing interview.

I was supposed to spend Christmas back home too but then have to cancel the flight because of this unfortunate process. I have no idea what stuff they are looking for. All I know is manila officer sure does taking so long.

I got DM on 14th Nov, waiting for letter...we are in Etobicoke.
