oh okay. maybe because we got married in september then applied right away the next month. but we’ve been in a relationship for 2 years prior to marriage. and we have more proofs if in case they will ask more so we’ll just wait and see. thanks.
Hello have you received any news about your file transferred, l am equally in the same issues

Ok that's rare. So that might be an interview coming.
it could be. last week there were two instances where a ‘private number’ was calling my wife but she didn’t answer the first one and missed the second time the next day. i wonder if that’s cic and just decided to transfer it to ottawa and let them contact her since it’s our local cic office.

I saw a couple of posts about what it means when your file is transferred to a local office for further assessment. How would you know if it's transferred? Do they send you an email if that happens?

It's possible. Others have reported a call form their local CIC office via a private number.

In some cases you will receive an email. The only time I received an email was because they were also resquesting medicals. When it was transferred again, to my local office, I found out by calling IRCC.

So, having said that, they probably let you know when they're about to request some more documents, otherwise you won't find out that it's been transferred.

Will the landing interview letter come via the myCIC account? or is it sent directly to the PA's email?

Thanks a lot for your reply! I used a private agency to take the fingerprints and the police check before so I called them and they told me that CIC requested the fingerprints again just because the previous one I submitted with my application files expired. It's only valid for 6 months and I submitted I think last November with my application. So I just did another police check with fingerprints right away. They said RCMP will send the police certificate to me within 10 business days so I could upload a scanned copy of it to the CIC system then. Hope this will solve the problem. Just in case others have the same problem....

That's clever because otherwise they forward it straight to IRCC and you don't receive the details you need to update your MyCIC account and provide replacement. I think it is better if they send it to your home so you can scan and upload it yourself. Good call!

has anyone else been able to log into myCIC or ECAS this morning? the servers seem to be down...
