Hello Admin! Thank you for such a really great forum and helping so many people.

I have submitted my application under spouse Family Sponsorship. Everything is done and today I received an email from CIC saying that they have sent my file to London Visa Office.
I just want to know how long does the LVO take for further processing any idea???
What will be thier next step?

I think you are Outland applicant, there is separate thread going on for London visa office. You can find better information there

Hi,

Just got a medical request but might need to extend the deadline.

How do I go about doing it?
What's your timeline please?

I think you have to send a case specific enquiry. It's explained on the aor letter (links and stuff).

Hey guys,

I am not sure if this means anything, but I ordered my GCMS notes and 3-4 days later I received my AIP. I reordered my GCMS notes again on March 13th and I saw DM on the 17th. I don't know for sure if ordering the notes triggered them to pick the file up or if its just a coincidence, however, I just want to share my experience because I know what it feels like.

Thank you, Melissaj! I followed your advice and ordered my GCMS notes on March 22. I also don't know what exactly helped, because the reviewing of application was already out of 1 year frame, but last Friday (Apr 06) we got DM on both ECAS! Finally some move!:)
The next great news that my husband received yesterday (Apr 10) SA, so I'm just waiting for AIP soon)

Mine took around a month
My deadline for them to receive it is the 20th, I guess I just have to trust that they got it by then or will they send me a confirmation that they got it ?

1. We received your application for permanent residence on March 21, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence on April 9, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
3. Medical results have been received.

  1. Exactly one year today and still waiting................ any update on March applicant
polar25, do you have any news?

May 26th applicant here. Today my CIC online account has been updated and they finally started reviewing my eligibility. Hopefully, I will be receiving AIP soon.
This morning, I checked ECAS and for the first time, it has changed to 'Decision Made' from 'Application Received' for the applicant (me) and from 'In Process' for the sponsor (my husband) both! They started processing my application yesterday on April 10th.

That's awesome, congrats! Don't worry too much about it you will receive you eligibility letter very soon, you already have DM. Tomorrow will be 4 weeks since I am waiting for my landing appointment. Hopefully it comes soon.

Maybe its a coincidence that your application was approved without ordering the notes or maybe ordering the notes helped. I really don't know. But I think its best to order the notes because we have nothing to lose by doing so.

Hi everyone. My common-law partner had his medical done in Toronto (D. Chan) last Monday but it's still not showing up on his online account. I read that it can take about a week to show up. Is he supposed to submit the paper the doctor gave him as proof he had medical done?

Also his daughter in Jamaica had her medical as well and am wondering if anyone knows if the doctors in Kingston Jamaica also deal with the emedical system or will she receive the results herself and need to forward them to us and we submit it online? (She had to take 4 photos with her that is why I had thought they didn't deal with the emedical system but thought I would ask?).

Does anyone know of another way to upload additional documents?

I received a request for additional police reports, which gave me an option to upload the documents - however, I uploaded proof that I submitted for them a week ago, and now need to upload the actually documents, but do not have the option to do so anymore.

Hi all,

Quick question, I just called the CIC, the self serving option, it says something like "Review of you eligibility started". Does anyone know or have an idea how long it takes find out if I am eligible or not?

Thanks.
