Is there any evidence that doing an upfront medical speeds along the PR process?
not really. moreover, if your medical results expire by the time you're supposed to land, ircc may ask you to redo the exam.

  1. We received your application for permanent residence on March 24, 2017.
  2. Medical results have been received.
  3. We sent you correspondence on March 5, 2018. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. 1. no AIP letter, No DM yet. still says that application received on ECAS.

I like how they just kinda skipped March applicants lol and went straight to April and May. Even though mine is moving, but it still seems so slow.

Question...

I sent my inland application on July 21st, 2017 and since then on my MyCIC Account says my review of eligibility hasn't started yet, only my BGC is in process since December and yesterday I did my medicals. Is it normal that they didn't start my review of eligibility yet? Because I have seen others that the review for them has already started.

Anyone who has the same timeline and would like to share what it says on his/her MyCIC Account?

Thanks:)

Yes that's normal. I'm a July applicant too (31st), I submitted schedule A + Canadian police certificate in October and they've been processing my background check since December too. They asked for medicals last week and I did them last Friday, but the clinic takes 10 days to submit them.

Hi,

I have absolutely no knowledge about immigration laws, only personal experiences. I was out of status for almost 5 years. We applied inland for spousal sponsorship in April 2017 and I got DM on March 2018. If I can get my permanent residence I don't see why your wife can't. Hers is on 90 days. My advice take some time and do some research and applied inland and be careful with the representative that choose. Make sure you do research in them too. They can be very sketchy.

Good luck!
Same for me I was also out of status.
