we sent 2 weeks ago a letter of explanation for the 2 police certificates that couldnt provide with some email proofs from the 2 embassies.

Do you have any experience with this too ? when they ask theses 2 police records they asked us to pay the last fee (490$ for the RP card)

I received the same request 2 weeks ago as well (I'm May 1, 2017 AOR). Also for 2 police certificates from 2 other countries I've lived in.

Though it seems impossible, I sent out expedited requests/documents to those countries to obtain the certificates by the April 11th deadline CIC gave me (less than 1 month!!). I'm wondering now if I should just email CIC and tell them I cannot provide them either.

Can I ask what sort of proof you sent? Was it emails from the embassies saying you couldn't get the reports by the deadline, or you couldn't get them at all?

I'm afraid if I sit around and wait for the certificates to come (probably right before the deadline, if at all) it is going to delay my application!

Does anyone else have suggestions on this?? Thanks!

Call CIC and ask them to extend your deadline to be on a safe side. Many people here have similar problems and they seem to understand.

Yup, I have DM on both sides, it's been like that for over a week. I called CIC yesterday and they told me it has been approved. He said to wait for that interview invitation and he mentioned that it might take about a week or 2. I guess they are busy...

Cic received my application march 02, 2017 same time as yours and still waiting. Last time I had update was jan. 2017 when they asked for schedule a. No sa/no aip yet. Hope to hear something soon too.

I called them like a month ago and they told me that if I don't have any changes by mid March to contact them (I am March 13th Applicant). So maybe you should try that...Maybe they can give you more info than MyCiC account.
