Hey guys, I just got an update on my application. They requested to submit a CSQ.

Does somebody know what comes after that? Does that mean something good? Thank you!

Ps: I'm inland applicant from March 2017. It will be a year on March 27th. That's why I'm wondering if I'm close to the end of it!

I have a couple of questions. I applied in June 2017 and in August 2017 I travelled to Europe for a couple of weeks. When I came back to Canada, I just showed my work permit and the officer did not even stamp my passport.

1. Did anyone else enter and their passport was not stamped? I read on an immigration law firm website that CIC is moving towards electronic tracking so they will stop stamping all passports. Just wanted to know if anyone else noticed this.

2. Do I have to communicate this new entry to Canada to CIC?

Do you remember the date when you signed the forms? Was it nov 7Th? Maybe because of that?
Congrats by the way!
Thanks! I think I signed earlier than the 7th. It seems that everyone has a seven day difference on their OWP application date.

Hi Forumers,
Just a quick question. I had an update on my CIC account that they need additional documents in order to process my application and i heard it from their voice mail when i phoned CIC that they sent their request last FEB 24 and i havent got any message from them. I dont know what documents they need from me.do you guys experience this kind of situation? my timeline is almost one year this coming Mar 21.
thank you

Yes I had the same thing. We went on holiday to Mexico in November and they didn't stamp my passport on our return. Presumably it's tagged electronically as you mentioned.

Did you request your note recently?

Hello everyone,

CIC received my application on 14th Dec 2017.

AOR received on 29th Jan 2018. (PCC & Schedule A submitted same day)

OWP app linked to the account on 20th Feb 2018.

Any December 2017 applicants with their OWP's approved yet?

Please share your timelines! :)

Hi, I'm a December 13 applicant and still waiting for my OWP.
My timeline:

App received: December 13th.
AOR received: January 26th
OWP app linked: February 8th

I think the average time to get the OWP is between 90-100 days from the day CIC received the App.

Hi Guys, I thought I had the full picture of the spousal sponsorship process, but looks like it is just clear as mud!

Is that possible to not have a Landing interview? What happens after the landing interview? Do we get a Passport Request like on the Express Entry? We must mail the COPR, why? What is the event that finalize the application? Are you considered a PR after the interview?
Since I had the phone interview, I had to mail my signed COPR to get CIC's stamp on it. So my landing date is not yet confirmed until I get my COPR back. And also I am not considered PR until my COPR is stamped. I do not think INLAND Spousal sponsorship has passport request, as I didn't have to do it.

If you go in person for the interview, then no mailing is required and you get your COPR stamped right there. They also send you to another line to get your SIN number, unlike the phone interview where we have to go to Service Canada to receive one.

Hope this helps.
