Hi Guys,

I am sponsoring my wife under the inland procedure and we are living together in Canada. The complete guide for Background declaration says,

Schedule A – Background/Declaration (IMM 5669)

You (the principal applicant) and any of your family members 18 years of age or older (who are not already Canadian citizens or permanent residents) must fill out, print, and sign a this form.

Does the above mean, she needs to submit a copy of background declaration for her parents and sister along with hers?

I am so confused. When I asked this questions before, some people said she needs to submit it for herself only as her family is only we two after the marriage. But some said, its required for her parents and sister as well.

Please help me clear this confusion.

Thanks
only her, the principal applicant. “family” means just you, her, and any child if you have. schedule A is only to be filled up by her.

That makes sense. Thanks marvz21. Appreciate it.

One more question, Is it true all who apply for inland sponsorship will be called for an interview? Or is it random?

June 16th app. No medical request yet. I spoke to an agent yesterday who advised me it'll be requested soon. Not sure if he actually has that information to hand or not, but it's just a case of waiting and hoping!
Finger crossed. June applicant here. Those who are waiting will get that request soon hopefully

you mean a relationship interview or landing interview? they will only asked for a relationship interview if they are in doubt of the relationship.

for the landing interview via phone it is a new program. mostly those who are hours away from a CIC office goes thru this.

Here is some news from March applicant.I got request for my second medical on 15Feb,21Feb doctor’s appointment and today 2March medical passed on my cic. Now it says we need additional documents to process your application..so waiting for the request..no idea what they will request next

they only asked for relationship interview if the officer is not convinced that the relationship is genuine.
landing interview is the final step. that is the day that you become a permanent resident.

Did any thing change in the Background check because for me it changed from "Not Applicable" to "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check." .Can you please let me know .

Hello, what's the additional document that was requested for if you don't mind. Thanks

Hey Sorry! Just saw this
I got asked for my Traffic History Report which is whether you have any speeding fines, DUI's stuff like that.
It was a document related to my home country/state so not everyone will get asked for it.
