Hi everyone,

I am a February 13th, 2017 in land applicant. On January 26th,2018 my husband (sponsor) received SA by email and on February 13,2018 I received a letter stating that my eligibility is met and that they will make a final decision once background, security and medical is complete. Want to mention also that I did receive a PFL for cohabitation on January 22nd,2018, all required documents received by CIC officer on January 31st,2018. I checked CGkey and its written background in progress as well as eligibility. On ECAS it states decision made for both ( sponsorship application and applicants application). How can it be decision made on ECAS but not on GCKEY?

Hi i am april 5 applicant my spouse just received his medical request and now i am curious to know how long it will take for getting his COPR

No, if it's at the residence, and someone can forward by courier, that's best.

If not, just bring correspondence that CIC has sent to her about her PR. Also, one month out of Canada could be bad for her application. So she wants to return soon...
Thanks for your Assistance.

Q1 - My wife resubmitted her OWP due to just one tiny error and CPC-Vegreville received it yesterday. We originally submitted OWP, PR and Sponsorship on Dec. 21st, 2017. Does the OWP queue start on Dec 21st or on Feb 19th (yesterday)? Since it's the resubmission of the OWP, will it process quicker or be back in the same time frame of up to 4 months? Her visitor visa expires April 21st and I understand she will be on implied status after the expiration date.

Q2 - What's the difference between ECAS and MyCIC?

Many thanks for your help.
I think resubmissions are processes quicker as files are send directly to vegerville as compared to Mississauga. We r seeing people who submitted directly are getting it quicker . It is a guess not sure. Hope u get it soon .

After medical comes SA,AIP and decision made...then you get landing interview not copr. Copr is for outland

Thank you so much!! Waiting for a year already and I'm just ready for it to be over!! I can feel it coming to an end soon but every day seems soooooooooo long. :( Soon....
You heard anything about yours?

Haven’t heard anything, silence since passing the medical. Hopefully soon, it can’t come soon enough

Hi everyone!
Today my OWP was approved!!!
I'm a Nov 11/2017 Mississauga applicant. I paid the right fee.
Good luck everyone!!!
Respect to my PR application still showing "your action is required", so must be a glitch liked I readed in other forum.
Great ! When did you get your AOR and sent pcc and schedule A ?

Is this legal to send OWP to USA via Courier?

Yeah, why not? They send them to you via regular mail.

Throw it in a FedEx envelope and no one knows what's in there.

Outlands send their passports in the same way...

Quick question about travel after the final interview:

I have received an email to go for the "landing" interview on 1st March (note that MyCIC/ECAS still just says Processing/Decision Made respectively).

I am due to go to the US by air for a conference on 24th March so I'm assuming I won't have my PR card by then. But will I be able to travel back into Canada on the confirmation of PR letter that I understand I will get at the interview?
When you get your COPR you are automatically a permanent resident of Canada. Traveling back to Canada won't be a problem, but it's adviceable to always travel with your COPR if you haven't received your PR card yet.

ECAS gets updated first before mycic account.
Congratulations let me be the first to congratulate you. As you soon become a PR

PC submitted with my application
Hi.
We have similar timelines. On the application Cic website the background check is still " not applicable"
Did yours change to "in process" or not yet
