Congrats! But, I agree with @HomeAgain17. It won't hurt to notify CIC on this. Just to make sure you're transparent and not bump into possible problems in the future.

i applied same date 15th December 2017. I just received an email asking to link my account online but no AOR yet. weird

Yes, 3 months, 90 days. I sent my app in Feb, and at that time they were processing OWP's faster.

Ya 3 months is a generous wait period too, some people have been waiting 4 months.
I submitted mine October 26th and am still waiting, hoping to get it this week or next.
No, family members for cic means you, your spouse and child.
But your spouse don’t need to provide Police cert if he is the sponsor.

hey everyone, I noticed that people are receiving their AOR's before being asked to link the GCKEY.
We got asked to link GCKEY yesterday but didn't get an AOR. Is the AOR implied or do you get a separate email for it? It doeesn't say anything about AOR or 'acceptance of receipt' anywhere in the email.

the email you received that says you need to link the application to your online account is the AOR. it does not mention AOR, but it means they acknowledged that they received your application.

The last time I spoke with CIC, which was last week, I was advised that it takes 4 months to process the OWP application now.
