So happy today as i received my AOR and able to link PR application and OWP with no problems.

Here is my timeline:
Application Sent: November 23, 2017
Application Received: November 27, 2017
AOR Received: January 12, 2018
Schedule A and PCC sent: January 12, 2018

Quick question, for applicants working in the health care field, how did you go about your OWP without restrictions?

Thank you so much for your helpful answer and I hope I didn't disturb your day.
Now, for those who really care:
I called CIC and they recommended me to do a medical exam upfront and just add it to my work application through the Webform. Otherwise, the Open permit that I will receive will be limited and I won't be able to work in the health field, and I will need to send a new application to change the conditions of my Open work permit. I read other forums as well and It sounds about right.

I just read your comment and I was wondering if you will be doing an upfront medical soon for your OWP? And are you in Vancouver area if you dont mind me asking

you can send your medical via web form the other option is to wait for OWP and then bring your medical to the border and they will print you a new one. probably easier to submit it via web form

Yes, I am in Vancouver area and I am going to submit it via webform. That was what the guy from CIC told me to do. Because my application was received in Oct, he told me to be fast because they are already processing applications from that time. Hope I helped :)

mine was submitted/received in October 5th and still says "We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility." :( i really dont know whats the criteria or the order to review submitted applications :(
Good Morning :) We are almost there ;) It’s a nerve racking process, especially while not working. I wouldn’t worry about what the online says. I’ve heard many applicants say their status just went to updated then approved without ever seeing the reviewing your eligibility part ;)

Thank you so much for your help! I guess I have to do an upfront medical exam soon. And i dont even know which panel physician does it without any request letter. Where are you planning to do your medical exam? I am from Vancouver as well. I might have to do it next week

What did u submit on 5th?
I'm an August applicant and mine still says we will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility

So I applied inland in October for Spousal PR and SOWP in the same envelope; AOR came on December 7, I linked the PR application to the online account, and only managed to link my OWP application today.

Oh wow, August and still nothing?? I see that timelines vary anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months..

Did you try to link your OWP application every day?

If you’re an August applicant you should have your OWP by now. If you don’t there is a problem, either you don’t qualify for one or they lost your application. Either way I would call them Monday.

Good day all,
I’m June 20th inland spousal applicant, I was just asked about schedule A and we submitted it and recieved my OWP in September but since then I haven’t heard anything.

I haven’t done medicals nor anything else, is this normal since it has been almost 7 months after submission.

We are june 6 2017 and nothing here yet except the PCC in July. Backround check went into process Nov 20th

No, I tried the same day I got AOR, then maybe a week or two later, then just forgot about it. I wasn’t even sure I could do it, to be honest. Yesterday was reading forums and found some tips on how to do it.

Can someone tells me if only the primary applicant is able to link his CIC account to the apllication ? Or the sponsor can link as well ?
