Hey Guys,

In AOR it is mentioned to submit Schedule form and it must be submitted by Principal Applicant with all family members , so it means Sponsor is also family member so she has to submit Schedule A form as well ? or just only PA has to submit it ? no need for Sponsor to Submit Schedule A form? Can someone please confirm me?
only the principal applicant.

I am guessing he will...the other thing is that we don't know where we lost the passport should we report it to the police?? I guess the passport will have a new number but I mean it is still an ID

as soon as you get the new passport, update the number with CIC.

not sure if you should report it to Police, but definitely check with your embassy. (a police report can be helpful)

also, if there was any visa stamped/permit attached in the passport, you need to do the following :

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=045&top=12

update your file when u get the new passport, and include a letter of explanation about losing it (this is where u can use the police report).
if i were you, i would also call cic to check if any other steps are required.

Hi @Pearl1
do we need to notify CIC when we have a new passport?

Hey guys,

I am filling out my police certificate request and had a question.

I am applying inland and living in Montreal as a visitor. I am from the US and it asks for your Home Address on the FBI form, I am curious if I put the address that I am living at in Canada or my most previous address I lived at in the US?

Also on the next set of lines for "Address to mail the results to", it says C/O _______ and ATTN ______ ....what needs to be put here?

Thanks in advance!

I thought CIC would be on break already but they seem to be working still.
Hopefully really new year November applicants will get AOR.

Spousal P.R In-land Application: (U.S-CITIZEN)

Application sent: August 1st, 2017
Application received: August 3rd,2017
AOR: Sep 29th, 2017 (they requested police cert & Schedule A).
Oct 13th,2017 (They confirmed in writing receiving all required documents).

Please add me to a timeline/spread sheet if there is Any! Thank you

Hi @Pearl1

If it is just a renewal of your PP, i don't see the need to notify cic. in your signature, owp was issued based on old PP expiry. I guess you will be applying again, so they will get the new expiry date of the PP.

however, the previous comment was for a lost PP and they think that a new PP number will be issued.

Can anybody relate to this situation?
Spouse file received on June 4, 2017
File number on July 1, 2017
Schedule A and police clearance asked on 1 August 2017
Sent everything on August 15, 2017
after that received an e-mail we haven't received anything yet and probably cic has lost the package
Then again on Sep 10, 2017 we sent everything online schedule A and Police clearance and we have been assured that everything has been received.
All fees have paid upfront $1050.
Since then all it says file in Process no medical Yet.

Yea. Just keep cool, everything is in order. Am a June applicant too. Got AOR On July 14, submitted schedule A, on July 15th. And since then I haven’t heard anything from CIC. No medicals yet, but only saw on my cic profile that they started background check some weeks ago.

The waiting time is killing, but we got to stay alive through the process.
