So the agent said that according to the system they are working on September 29th applicants and anyone who has gotten their AOR’s for October are extremely lucky. She assured me that she can see that my application was picked up at Canada post on the 16th. She was incredibly helpful!!! She told me not to panic and to just be patient.

This is a bit of reassuring news! Also she informed me that the only days they are closed are Christmas Day Boxing Day And New Year’s Day so AOR’s will be coming over Christmas

She was by far the friendliest and the most helpful agent I have spoken to yet. So I want to believe she is sincere

Just seems strange people have been reporting AOR's here well into October.

I told her that and she said if they’ve gotten theirs they are extremely lucky but the bulk of applicants being processed as of today are september 29th

Hello. My app was received by them on October 13th. Last night I got an email with my app number. That's the AOR, right?

I'm assuming it is and I'm so excited, the wait has been so stressful. Also, by reading the thread today, if that's my AOR I can't believe I'm one of the lucky ones! To everyone still waiting: patience and good luck!!

We are October 16th applicants and still no AOR. As our application was returned once before the pit in my stomach is getting huge as I am dreading that returned envelope any day now. Seeing people from October 23rd recieving AOR’s already.

You've seen folks with inland applications from Oct 23 already received AOR? Mine is also Oct 23rd and I have yet to see anything.

How long does it usually take for your application to be received by the local VO? Mine was transfered Nov 9th, and no sign from anyone ever since, no update on ECAS either..

We have identical situation. Seems unlikely they will return work permit app. a second time just because of old version of form. If you call them or learn anything more let us know. I think we will just leave it and hope for the best.

Have you been able to link your app again? I have been trying every day but still cannot link my app. I've heard that sometimes it doesn't get linked at all but is still approved, but I'm just dying to know if it is processing or not so I can ease my nerves.

Hi! I sent the entire package (IMM5710 and checklist updated) and the documents required (copy of passport, visa, marriage certificate, proof of payments and a copy of the letter they sent me)

Another person from the forum called them and they told that had to fill out the updated forms and send it all again.

I think you should call them and ask about that.

This is very stressful.

How can I call them?? I can't work out how to get through to an actual person. I've submitted an inquiry but have yet to hear back, they may not even reply at all. VERY stressful!!

PR and OWP permit received at CPC Mississauga Oct. 11. I received AOR on Dec. 6. HOWEVER, today the OWP application was returned because apparently I forgot to submit proof of payment. I now have to re-send to Vegreville. The original returned application has "Received Oct. 11 2017 CPC Mississauga" stamped at the bottom and at the top is a sticker with a number on it.

Someone please please please tell me that the four-month waiting process for OWP doesn't start from the beginning again?

It does unfortunately We had a similar situation ( we missed the $155 fee) and had to resend to Vegreville... Originally submitted Sept 5, 2017, resubmitted Nov 15, 2017.... have yet to hear anything back. Very stressful and disappointing! There was another applicant who sumbitted same say as us and received OWP on Nov 28 ..... !!
