You mentioned you are 4 months pregnant. Do you have private insurance to cover health care costs, or paying out of pocket? I was asking because my wife and are planning for a child and are trying to figure out timelines and such.
I still have my Alberta Health Card to cover costs but it'll expire on November afterwards I guess we'll have to pay out-of-pocket until I get my OWP. I think it'll be best to wait until all papers are ready. Our baby was unexpected lol

Are you residents of Ontario? I can give information or figure out something for your pregnant wives who do not have health cards at the moment to receive antenatal care. Get in touch with me if interested.
Hi, no. We're in Alberta

Hi everyone,

Been a lurker here for a while. Thank you for all your posts I appreciate it. My application was received Aug 29, and no AOR yet. Has anyone around the end of aug received theirs yet? Starting to get nervous.

My application was received sept 1 but still no AOR yet

Got a request for schedule A.

1) Whats the fastest way to get FBI clearance? is it through a channel or directly with FBI?
2) if OWP was submitted same time as application, does it depend on schedule A and all that stuff?
@acac999
I did it through a local lawyer/notary in Mississauga. It took about 4 months from doing the fingerprints to receiving the letter in the mail. As per FBI's website processing time is 12-13 weeks plus mail delivery time.

The schedule A is not relevant to the OWP, as far as I know. The OWP app is on its own.

Hi, my husband and I submit the application for permanent residence in the family class for spouses currently living in Canada.

The Canadian Embassy in Mexico will request a police certificate on my name behalf after I provide the fingerprints.
The certificate will be sent to CIC and the results will be uploaded directly in there sistem.

how long take that process?

I would like to keep in contact with hopefully we can help each other I'm sponsoring my wife she from Mexico as well application received on September 21st so I have about one more month before getting a ARO

Hello,

I sent in my package on August 29th and received AOR to link account on October 27th. Hope this restores hope since a lot of people seems nervous about not receiving AOR.

Getting slower and slower, they have only gone through 6 days of new inland apps in over 2+ weeks (August 23rd apps got AORs around the 10-12th October). Hopefully the speed of all our new apps will still be complete within the 12 month target.

Perfect! We sent the application on September 25 to Mississauga.
Waiting for good news!

Honestly if it takes 14 months or 15 months no big deal people before Dec 2016 are waiting much longer. The most important thing is keeping your stats legal in Canada ARO gave you the legal right to stay in in tell decision is made

Hello
I have been creeping here for a little while and have some Questions. I am sponsoring my Indonesian wife Inland. The application was received on August 15th. Maybe I am confused, but she didn't really receive an AOR per se. Her first notification was to submit Sched A and PCC on Oct 7. Is that normal?

Second question, I have not received an AOR for myself. Again, is this normal? I believe I am an ideal sponsor and figured they wouldn't even blink for that.

Third. Has anybody gotten an OWP yet who submitted in August?

Hello, @Canada_Tim,

We applied last July 2017 and received the request for the Schedule A towards the end of September 2017. After which, no word from them again anymore. So, I guess it's "Normal". We have not received the requested OWP as well.

:)
