I received my NOA, finally. I submitted my husband's application without NOA in end of August. I know that CIC needs NOA for the financial part. What should I do? Mail them my NOA? or?
If you already have your application number and UCI, then you can submit it online at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp
If you haven't then it's good to wait unless you already have UCI or you can courier to
2 Robert Speck Parkway,
Suite 300
Mississauga, ON
L4Z 1H8

I will advise you submit online.

I am also wondering how long is FBI police clearance is good for? He obtained this back in January.
On the police clearance, if your partner hasn't traveled to States after obtaining the report then it is ok to submit. Also, if your partner has traveled to States after the FBI report was issued, but for a period more than 6months, then new one is needed. If it's less then 6months, the CIC may or may not request a new one. You can submit the old one and apply for new one should in case.

Hello everyone, my husband (the PA) just got AOR this morning. His application was delivered on 22nd August. Now CIC requires the schedule A and police certificate. I have two questions about this request:

1.Do I need to submit my police certificate along with his? I am the sponsor.
2. So we don't need to include police certificate from Canada, right?

much appreciated for any of your answers:)

Received AOR today. Our application was received by CIC on August 22th.

I tried linking my application with my existing cic account which seem to be successful after using different conbinat but when I checked its showing "No data available in the table". I can't find any request to submit PC and schedule A.

Please any idea on this one?

Hello Everyone,

Thank you for your time and amazing responses. You all have been of great help in making this an amazing platform to gather information especially for a novice like me. I have a query wrt to my wife's inland application. Her application was received at CPC-M on August, 28 - 2017 but we haven't received any AOR yet. I have tried linking the application online as well but no luck. Is this time frame normal and when should I start panicking for the AOR? Also, once we get the AOR, is there any way she can be eligible to work under implied status as she has a reference who could secure her a job ASAP, she is currently on a visitor permit valid until Feb'18.

Thank you in advance.

The two previous posts indicated they just got AOR today and their application was received August 22nd. Don't panic, should have it next week.

in terms of the work under implied status, she can't work until the work permit is in her hands and she gets her SIN number

Hi I'm Nina, good to meet you all! :)

Am sponsoring my hubby who is currently in Canada on a student visa... application (incl. for OWP) submitted Dec 8, 2016... AOR1 Dec 23, 2016... OWP issued Mar 27, 2017... PCC requested April 11, 2017. We have a lawyer helping us, and he's pretty good at advising us and staying on top of things (though expensive).

My hubby is from Colombia and worried about how long the PCC takes as well as the process involved. However, we're following the instructions on the CIC page we were referred to and keeping track of emails/scans showing that we've paid for the PCC with the private agencies referred to, so we can submit that.

Am keeping my fingers crossed that we receive a spousal approval soon! But it seems from looking at the 2016 entries that it could be about six months after AOR?

Good luck everyone!
Did you get any thing?

If this question is directed at me (you did quote me), then I am wondering what help I can be? You seem to know what's going on. Looks like they sent the file to an inland office. If I work from the old processing manual, that would seem to indicate they want to do additional review and possibly an interview. But again, this is the old processing documentation (from cases before 2017). They are likely still using this, but just remember it has yet to be updated (since 2015-05).

But i submitted new application on December 22 under new rule .now now they're saying they're doing the background processing so what do you think how long is going to take to complete the background check

Given that is the latest operations manual posted, and they do post them online, I would say they are still likely working with that manual. And, they did tell you that it's been referred. So, believe me or not.

BG checks vary wildly. Things like: places lived, countries visited, etc will add to the processing time. So, it's not possible to guess.

I understood but . Just let me know when CIC gave you a letter that they transfer your files to the local office
