My application was received May2nd, got the AOR May25, received request for Schedule A May26, uploaded the Schedule A through IRCC webform May29. That is it so far. How about you?

My application was received on May 17th. No communication from them yet.

I sent mine off and it was received on the 25th April. Haven't had anything back yet. Just to confirm the AOR gets sent to the sponsor's email right?

I tried calling but couldn't get through without a case ID. The automated message said they had processed up to the 16th April two days ago.
Yes AOR is sent to the sponsors email

Should I post the PCC to CIC or uploading PCC and Schedule A in MyCIC account is fine?!!!
If you can upload it in cic account then do it that way. I couldn't upload so i mailed mine instead

you can attach it and send as a CSE through the ircc webform

In my last visit back home, a week before my flight I got a PCC and officially translated and brought with me. It is from 2015. Can I use that? My PCC from Canada is all ready, so I'm sending both. Please let me know ASAP.

Ecas update: application received May8
My representative received email yesterday June 1 from IRCC indicating UCI and Application Number and how to linked online but didn't link it because i've learned from previous thread that i need to drop my representative but i don't want to do that so i just decided not to link it online since my lawyer also adviced me to not link this time because of many technical errors that some encountered after they linked it. I have a questions, if you received UCI and Application number does it mean it is the same as AOR? So what will i expecting to receive next? Thanks in advance. Appreciated your reply.

pcc is i think only valid for 6 months or a year and i read somewhere that if you are submitting a pcc upfront it should be 3 months recent. you can send your translated pcc however and attach a note to say that a new one is to follow. i think some people have done that but i'm not 100% sure.

i would say yes. along with your uci and app number the letter would say your application was received. next thing you would generally expect is a pcc and schedule a request.

Submitted spousal app for hubby Dec 8th, 2016, incl. upfront medical
AOR Dec 23rd, 2016
OWP March 27th, 2017
Request for criminal check April 5th, 2017
Spousal approval June 1st, 2017 --- YAY!!

I'm not sure what the next few steps are, if anyone can advise?

Congratulations on SA! Next is approval in principle (AIP) which often happens soon after SA. After that will be Decison made letter (DM), but you should expect this letter close to the one year mark. You might get lucky and get in sooner. After DM is the landing appointment letter.

So we are part of the batch of applicants that did not receive any correspondence through myCIC to upload our Sch A and PCC's. After calling IRCC in late April, we got confirmation that the correspondence was indeed a request for documentation and that we should upload our documents via the CSE webform. That was May 12th, 2017. We also sent in physical documents by mail which was received in the IRCC mail room May 19th, 2017. Just today, we got an officer to respond to our webform CSE with acknowledgement that our documents were successfully received and attached to our application. So it seems webform queries/document uploads are taking about 3 weeks to process for those in a similar situation.

I guess our next steps are to wait for the background check to process and to find a panel physician to book a medical check at a moments notice.

Actually i sponsor my common law partner. We included the pcc in the application package coz we got already from our relatives before we submitted it to IRCC. My problem now is if i didn't linked my account online does it slow the process? Is it really mandatory to linked or it doesn't make any difference? Thanks

the IRCC prefers that applications are linked. But it is not necessary. However, they will communicate with by email or by physical mail through the mailing address reported on the application.

Thank you so much. Hopefully we will get an update soon...

Thanks sylvain1!
AIP means they're still doing background checks, etc? And does a landing appointment letter always mean a meeting with CIC? and ... is it usually with the sponsored partner only or both?
