I received the SA email yesterday and the applicant's letter saying meet all the requirements..... and today I check on ECAs and says decision made, whatsmnext after that? And I haven't paid the fee in full, do I have to wait for their letter about my balance or do I have to pay it now?
Sept 28 applicant here.

I am similar to you, DM on both sides and waiting for the landing interview. I too have not paid the Right to Permanent Residence Fee ($495), can anyone shed some light for us?

thanks

RPRF must be paid before landing, so if you have DM on both sides, I would recommend to pay them now.

I can't seem to find a way to pay it. every link just sends me in circles or says "connection not secure" and won't let me get through to the payment section..

I know i have DM and i have been approved, but there is still no official email stating this. Should i wait until i get the email/message?

this is what it says on the website: You can pay the RPRF at the same time as your application fees to avoid delays. If we approve your application before you pay it, we will contact you to explain how.

Congrats !! Next is your landing appointment and you will have to bring the receipt of payment with you to show it has been paid. So paying somewhat soon is a good idea.

Try that one: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/result.asp?countrySelect=AF&lob=rprf

Hey. I rescheduled mine in Calgary. I sent them email and got response within hour. You need to write rescheldue and your UCI number in title. Explain why you can't attend the interview and say when you are coming back from your trip. They will put you back in queue, so it will be another 2 weeks to get next date.
Yeah they already answered me back with a new date which is awesome!

Nov. 14 applicant here. I just found that the status of both my partner and I on ECAS changed to "Decision Made", but the CIC page still shows "Your application is in progress...". I haven't received any DM letter.

Hi, I just became a PR. Such a relief!!! It's a long post, but it's about traveling abroad and delaying the landing interview so it might help some people.

Our application was received on August 28th 2017. Everything was going well and on time, in June we got a notification that our application was approved and that we should expect the Invitation Letter for the landing interview from the local office in Hamilton, ON (where we live). Now, because when we first applied, we were told that I cannot leave the country until the end of the process, I was very anxious to visit my family. It was only on this forum that I learned that I was perfectly able to go and that basically in any stage, there are ways. So we bought the tickets for Europe thinking that we would be done with everything by the end of August for sure. However the invitation did not come until a few days before our trip and the actual date of the interview was August 27th, when we were supposed to already be gone. Naturally, we both panicked, discussed all possible solutions and in the end sent an email asking for a delay until after we are back. We spent a sleepless night waiting for the reply which came first thing in the morning saying that our request has been noted and we should expect a new invitation later. So easy!
Then we received a new letter and the interview was scheduled for the day after our return to Canada which was great as we thought we would have to wait for months for the new date. Then, the night before we were supposed to leave for Canada, my flight was moved for the day later. Again, panic, negotiation with Air Canada, and in the end, we asked for another delay explaining what happened. In two hours, the reply came saying that we can come any time on the day after our return.

I apologize for this long post, I just wanted to let people in my situation know that it is not a big deal, I know how much we worried for, apparently, no reason. I know it's not the best idea to postpone these interviews but it clearly isn't the end of the world.

Good luck to all you waiting for you PR!

Hello everyone,

I am in-land application and I am in Canada. My Open Work Permit is valid until December 31, 2019, but my Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) is expired. During PR processing time, Can I stay in Canada legally with valid Open Work Permit but expired Visa? OR I have to apply for a new Temporary Resident Visa?

Please advise, and Thank you!
