Has anyone travelled while still waiting for DM? Was there any issues, and what documents/forms/info did you take with you?

Me and my wife have booked and paid for a trip back to my home in Australia for late December thinking DM would have been long sorted (Feb 2017 applicant, STILL WAITING!!!) but as we still don't have DM, i'm worried it won't be sorted by then and I am so done with this shit so I don't want to cancel our travel plans. I just want to go home for a holiday and deal with this shit when i get back to Vancouver...

The government has so far screwed us so i'm expecting to have dramas when i go to leave/re-enter Canada, has anyone else had any dramas or left and come back with no issues?
My spouse and I traveled internationally while our application was in process, I just made sure to have may passport and valid visa (in my case OWP) on me. Never any issues.

Probably getting towards the end - I got my AIP exactly 11 months after submitting my application, so I would not worry about it yet. Just send them what they are asking for and have faith that it will get you closer to the end.
It's been 18 months so far, i got AIP in July and nothing since. It seems like it has stalled, and i can't get any answers. MP's office has been trying to help and even they can't get any answers or reasons as to why it's taking so long. I'm so stressed out and worried that nothing is happening

No, I was not asked anything at all about the PR application.
ok that is promising. But how much time did you have left on your application when you travelled?

Also, did you need an ETA? I initially entered on a working holiday visa in 2015 which was extended by 2 years (expires April 2019) but this was before the mandatory ETA came in. after looking online it seems because i have the work visa i don't need an ETA, but it's a bit confusing...

Hi, its for September 24th at 1pm. I didn't get DM letter though. Are you also in Toronto? Maybe they're still scheduling everyone. You'll get yours soon! :)

Team,
I am a September 26th applicant and still nothing since Medical in April. Are there others like me?
Thanks
Hi Alsterix&Caterina,

My wife and I were the September 25th applicant, and we received AIP as PA & SA last friday (September 13th).

The emails was sent from the Vancouver office so I am guessing our applications were among the ones that were sent out to Vancouver office. I contacted the CIC earlier last week as well as I was curious to where we were at, and they told me we should be expecting everything by the end of the month. At the moment, on ECAS, I can see that my status has changed to DM, and my wife's still in process. I hope we can have it all finalized soon.

Where did you apply? I hope all works out, I know the wait is long but we are all so close to the end!

please advise..... is there anyone deal with situation like us? we received PCC from backhome..it says there was FIR on my husband but they wrote on the report that it is all clear now....is their any problem if we send the same to CIC??
If that’s clear doesn’t really matter! Also as long as it wasn’t related sex offender or murder case. Also one you will submit that PCC they will ask clarifications about that FIR. IF you unlucky( i really hope you are not ) your application can be delayed.

it was a fight between some guys.... so we can attach the court papers that shows the case is clear now?
