@sylvain1
I went to Service Ontario today with my AIP. They refused and said come back with the COPR. The OHIP website clearly states that AIP should suffice and I informed the agent accordingly. No luck. Will try a different Service Ontario office.
Yes try another one, because a lot of people did register to ohip with the AIP letter.

We applied for owp - paper application for my husband alongwith the spousal sponsership in nov 2017 but havent received any update. We linked it to cic account but all it says is processing , background check -N/a and medical not required. But he did his medical for PR on cic request. Any idea, why it is taking so long for owp ? usual time is 3-4 mon i guess

Was he out of status when you applied? If yes, then it's normal he didn't receive it yet as he would become eligible only after he gets AIP. If he was still in legal status in Canada when you applied, then this is not normal; he should get his OWP 3-4 months after applying for it.

i did but nothing. when i click it says this page is not working
Try calling IRCC on Monday and explain the situation. If you can get a line to talk to an agent (be patient and try often), the agent should be able to tell you what is the content of the letter.

My husband's (sponsor) status was "In process" on ECAS for a while, on Friday morning it changed to "Application received" and in the afternoon the same day he got SA. So good news are coming))

At that time he could have applied for status restoration as he was out of status for less than 90 days. Unfortunately, he will not be eligible for the OWP until AIP. The 3-4 months will start from AIP, so he will most likely land before his OWP will be approved.
