If you applied for work permit along with or before your current permit expired, she should be in 'implied status' which should be legal enough.we submitted before her statues was expired (her work permit was expired on 27th OCt) on OCT 8th 2017 and it is now in process starting December first
then don’t worry she can wait until decision made even I am out of status my lawyer told me to wait until decision madewe submitted before her statues was expired (her work permit was expired on 27th OCt) on OCT 8th 2017 and it is now in process starting December first
I don't think that your wife needs to leave Canada and apply again! It sounds crazy! The best way is to call CIC via toll free: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/contact-ircc/client-support-centre.htmlguys can anyone here help me. I sponsored my wife for PR inland program. she does not work so we didn't renew her work permit. is she legally allowed to stay in Canada now that her work permit is expired (more than 6 months) until decision is made? immigration lawyer gave me some crazy advise that my wife has to leave Canada and apply from outside and made me very worried and it's possible that her PR also get rejected since she doesnt hold a valid statues.
When did you applyI got my medical request! Originally sept applicant, but is a nov applicant.
Hello, could you please share your timeline?I got my medical request! Originally sept applicant, but is a nov applicant.
90 days passed and that's why immigration lawyer recommended her to leave but we have a new born babyIf you applied for work permit along with or before your current permit expired, she should be in 'implied status' which should be legal enough.
But if you did not apply for work permit, then you should have extension of whatever temporary resident status she was in (study, visit etc).
In such case, I think there are some cases where you can apply for renewal after out of status (by 90 days)
we didn't apply for work permit. but now her permit is expired and its almost 6 month that permit is expired. immigration lawyer says that she has to leave canda otherwise she will be removed from cannada and her PR will be rejected. but it not easy we have a new born babyIf you applied for work permit along with or before your current permit expired, she should be in 'implied status' which should be legal enough.

did you get PR without having a valid permit? so my wife can stay in canada wihtout a valid permit and hope for her PR to be approved?
Fire this clown "lawyer". Where do you even find these people. This lawyer is at best an incompetent idiot and at worst, a scammer.we didn't apply for work permit. but now her permit is expired and its almost 6 month that permit is expired. immigration lawyer says that she has to leave canda otherwise she will be removed from cannada and her PR will be rejected. but it not easy we have a new born baby
Maybe cheaper, the place I just booked my appointment at charges $40 for Xrays. Bloodwork and urine sample are included in the medical exam ($180)
I did a medical a few years ago (expired now) and it's just a chest xray, not a full body scan. So it's not as expensive.
My file is in process I applied in November. But I don’t know why u r lawyer said that. Just ignore him and wait for the decision and don’t worry.did you get PR without having a valid permit? so my wife can stay in canada wihtout a valid permit and hope for her PR to be approved?
