Thanks for your reply. However, while reading the old posts they say that 3 weeks after uploading schedule A the background check change into "in process".. it's been more than 3 weeks and nothing changed..I've submitted my schedule A too and it still says action required and I've read other people have seen the same. As long as there's no action for you to take and in the supporting documents part it says you've uploaded the file I don't think there's anything to worry about. My guess is that it might say "action required" until the deadline for supplying the document!

I submitted mine last week. I guess you could give them a call if you're still worried about it, as others suggested. Thanks for your reply. i submited my sched a around first week of august. and around mid of december when i had a look in my account the action required change to 'update' then once i open it and see any updates it somewhat in the process it says they started my background check. and as if now it still bact to action require. so nothing to worry as i spoke to the cic when i called they say its just a computer glitch. im waiting for my medical request...Thanks for your reply. That application is completely cancelled. Once they get the package with full fees, you'll be back in the queue but will be placed behind others ahead of you. You'll likely have to wait another 2 - 3 months from when your OWP application with full payment is re-received by the Vegreville office.Hello!
I have some questions about the OWP.
me and my husband applied for PR +OWP in October. We got the AOR Dec. 18th, and got our OWP returned at the same time because of insufficient funds. We mailed the OWP app with 155$ to Vegreville and it was received Dec. 20th. We managed to link the OWP application a few weeks later.
Then two days ago my husband got a message on his account that his OWP application was cancelled because it was incomplete, with a letter saying that the correct fee is $255. We again mailed the entire application that same day with the 255$.
So, my question is - does anyone have a definitive answer as to what the correct fee for an open work permit application is? will it be returned again due to insufficient fees?
second, will it take another 6-8 weeks to process, or will we be able to get it sooner? is it completely "cancelled" and we need to start again, or will they continue processing once they get the package with the full fees?
and third - how does one contact the CIC? do they have a phone no.? I haven't found any way to contact them by phone on the website.
Thanks!

Hi, from what I remember (but please double-check) you need to pay two fees totaling $255 -Hello!

Mine took a little less than 3 months.Does anyone know how long OWP approval generally takes AFTER it's considered "received" by the *Vegreville* office?
I was just able to link it today on Feb 9th, 2018. and it's showing that the Vegreville office received it January 8th, 2018.
