on the guidelines it says use only paper clips. Please advise
Can we use paper divider or binder clip to separate each section of the application ? What you think what is the best way to separate each section of the application?
Ah, hoping we get OWP soon. We applied September 5th and got AOR November 1st.. now just waiting for the OWPSent early Aug. Was received in Mississauga on Aug 8
Yes, it is. Mine changed its status approx after 5 months.Hello everyone. Question please - is it normal to see in mycic account a background status of not applicable??? I am referring to my PR application. Thanks!
this is correct but you have 90 days to restore your status not 30[/QUOTE
The original post said the temporary visa expired on October 31st so 90 days end end of January which is a month away. That is the reason I mentioned that since 60 days have lapsed, there's 30 more days left to restore status.
Sadly facebook removed the group and the admin team isn't sure why. We've been sending reports to facebook and haven't gotten a response. We've also been trying to reach the group's creator Eric Laine, but no one seems to have a contact for him outside of facebook. Feel free to join a similar facebook group with many similar members. "Applying for pr common law/spousal Canada" we may not ever see the other group again.Anyone know what happened to the Canada Spousal Support Group on Facebook? I can't seem to access it now...
Yes your OWP allows you to stay legally in Canada for the duration of time on it.I want to clarify a few things - I have a valid eTA and OWP but my stamp in my passport (was valid for 6 months) expired. Does OWP allow me to stay legally in Canada for the time indicated in the document with an expired stamp in my passport that I got on the day of my entry to Canada? Sorry for such a basic question but I couldn't find any information on the IRCC website about it.
may be cic asked fb to take it down. a couple of applicants here who called cic mentioned their reference as “we have a group where everybody shares their timeline and experiences”. though it is not prohibited it may not be a good idea telling cic that “we know which applications you’re currently working on so i should’ve received my AOR now”. sort of like that.Sadly facebook removed the group and the admin team isn't sure why. when they received your OWP application? did you link the OWP application to mycic and when? thanksMy spouse got his OWP in the mail today!
This was our timeline:
Application received: Aug 28
AOR: Oct 26
OWP email: Dec 28
OWP doc: Dec 29
The group has been around for over 4 years and ircc is very well aware of the group as they petitioned a lot. This forum has been around even longer. I wouldn't think that they would shut down anything like that. Especially after all if this time. The groups and forum help the call centre get fewer calls. Hard to say why it's not there. We hoped it was a glitch but it's been a week now.may be cic asked fb to take it down. a couple of applicants here who called cic mentioned their reference as “we have a group where everybody shares their timeline and experiences”. though it is not prohibited it may not be a good idea telling cic that “we know which applications you’re currently working on so i should’ve received my AOR now”. sort of like that.
