According to cic website, it's now 61 days.

I don't want to crash the party, but you will be eligible to apply in 2.5 years. The processing time for citizenship is another 12 months...

we are April 2016 and ours says exactly the same as yours, the waiting feels like it is taking forever, month after month with no changes

hope for luck for you and us and all the rest of us in these "forgotten months", hope they will get us done before 2018 but I'm not holding my breath

Yes, CIC orders it for you immediately after you officially land.

In our case, we both received the invitation by email and it was also on my wife's mycic account. But typically, I think it should be through mycic.

Yeah, so I have read. but in my mind, if I can apply in 2.5 yrs that's okay. the processing time for that one I can withstand.

My wife was email direct. Nothing in myCIC at all through the process.. except her medical request.

Really the only difference is you can hold political office (high security) and you can vote. So waiting a year...most wait 4-5 to vote anyway

2 weeks remaining to get my pr card and i get a mail stating that they cant process it because my photo does not match the requirement. Given 30 days to mail one out. Crazy! Probably get it next year with the long waiting time
