Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2016 timeline and updates

Hi Folks, How are you
May 09, 2016 Applicant. Sponsor CIC status is "Decision Made" since May 29 2017. He received a letter that you are good to sponsor.

I am have nothing received after that. Medicals upfront. FBI + Proof of cohabitation submitted in June 2017.

Any Body on the same boat with me ? 15 months already over for me.

If you submitted proofs oh cohabitation in June, I really expect you should get news very soon. Typically 45-60 days after to get attached to your file, then the time the agent comes back to your file to review the additional proofs you submitted. You are really right in the timeframe I would expect you to get news, so my guess is any day now.

same boat as you almost exactly, except April 2016 applicant. sponsor status "Decision Made" but no letter ever came. nothing received after that, medicals are approved, everything else seems good, just waiting and waiting and waiting. I am starting to doubt the earlier "promise" that us 2016 applicants should be finished by the end of this year

When you click on decision made, how many lines do you see? If you have 4 lines, I would suspect a typo in the email, if not 4 lines they really haven't sent it.
1. We received your application to sponsor XXXXX on (date)
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application on (date)
3. We started processing your application on (date)
4. We sent you correspondence on (date) about the decision on your application.

If you have something like line 4, it means they sent you the SA letter (typically via an email). If that's the case, it's possible that they did a typo in the email. That happened to me, but I realised they did the typo when I received my first set of GCMS notes, so I asked for the correction and it was done before they were ready to give me SA.

no issues with resubmitting anything
my ecas and MyCIC never have changed since having the medical done:

1. We received *********** application for permanent residence on May 9, 2016.
2. Medical results have been received.

Waiting (and waiting) for landing letter from St Johns.

They request me my passport April 2017 but it's expired we already send them a letter can't renew it until I get my OWP.....still waiting no response

I was out of status when I did my application in May 2016 my passport got expired in June 2016 to renew has to to have status .

Did I read that right? To renew your foreign passport, you have to have status in Canada?

Ok, so, Canada and India are not connected. They might be commonwealth nations, but they are not connected. India, from my understanding, doesn't care what your status is in any other country you visit. Canada won't issue you an OWP, or any other document, on an expired passport -- unless you are a refugee, or seeking asylum (and getting a new passport will put you in danger).

You can apply for a new passport from a high commission within Canada.

EDIT: I just double checked with a co-worker who is a PR and holds an Indian passport. He confirms what I said.

I have tried doing that but Indian high commission says I have to give some kind of status inside Canada to do renew the passport .and I I formed my lawyer about this he has send a letter to immigration office about this situation.

Hello guys I need some advises, came to Canada November 2016.
Applied to refugee January 2017
Febuary 2017 became refugee.
Hearing March...prostponed
March ending started dating.
Relationship became serious on may 2017 she surprise with with date of marriage July 2017.
Got work permit on may 2017.
Started work on June and write letter to social welfare to cut me off on the financial benefit.
June ending new hearing date and prosponed again.
Got married on july.
Now I want to know if my wife lawyer file my sponsorship.will I be giving new date or incase it happens and I loose my refugee
Hearing will I be sent home or still can I remain in Canada.thank you.

This is like myself and my husband, don't cancel your refugee and do the sponsorship, once your receive AIP then cancel your refugee status.
