Hey Marie! I appreciate your reply, thank you :) just wondering why you opted to go there cos there's clinic closer to us which is in Midnapore, and by far the cheapest, I just called all the clinics in Calgary lol. I was informed that the one in Sunridge would take 2weeks to send info to cic. The one in Midnapore told me within 10days. Not able to book an appointment yet due to my work schedule, I work 2 jobs, no day off, sigh....
I went to sunridge because I wanted a fast appointment and they actually sent it to CIC very fast. I had med complete on my CIC the next week.

The marriage certificate was sent, not reviewed yet.
It takes 45-60 days before they attach what you sent to your file. So probably another 2-4 weeks before they review what you sent at the beginning of July. I'm sure AIP will come very soon after.

My friend buys the seasons off Google Play... I usually just stream from one of the sources found int eh kodi apps (like primewire.ag or watchseries). Careful though -- I have recently heard reports of people getting notices of infringement in the mail.... so if you're going to do this, use a trusted source, or a VPN.
This is exactly what is holding me up. Since I don't know much about these services, I'm afraid to do something illegal and get troubles afterward.

ipvansih will get you an anonymous ip address. You should use this for everything you do online. Your home router can connect to these services usually, therefore anonymizing your online experience.

More importantly, those types of websites are known to carry malware/viruses. So, visiting with a simple windows PC can be problematic. Using some streaming device would eliminate that problem.

... wait ...

Did that *sound* smart???

So I just logged in to myCIC and 'Review of Medical Results' was updated to: "You passed Medical Exam".
Yay!
Yet it seems like they are still working on background check since it still shows that this part of process is still in progress. Got AIP, got my Medical reviewed and anticipating DM! :)

@sylvain1 WRT IPTV, if you *paid* for it, and it's live TV (not pre-recorded) and contains the same advertisements), that you didn't know any better -- so it's not your problem -- here is the guy I paid money :D

I have used the streaming devices since.....2013 anyway, and streamed 1,000's shows by now. I haven't gotten a notice.

Try calling and asking for a status update. I would be they are not actually working on BG, but security.

Nyet. That's Criminality. Security is where Canada's intelligence services check into you, and check with their international partners to see what they know about you. Looking for far more serious things than a simple theft or drunk driving charge.... they are looking for links to organized crime, human rights violations, war crimes, attempts to subvert other governments, etc.

Meh, nothing to worry about then! One of the great benefits of living an honest life :)

Exactly, nothing to worry, but this is why the timeline is a bit unpredictable because they work with other countries so that part of the processing time is not only up to Canada.
