Hi everyone! It’s my first time posting on the forum but I have been reading for a while now. Thank you so much for all who have been providing assistance/advise. It also helped with waiting as I was reading other peoples’ progress. I just want to give my timeline:

Application received – Dec 18th 2016
AOR - Jan 17th 2017
Medical request - May 10th 2017
Medical done - May 24th 2017
DM on sponsor -July 21st 2017
DM on PA -July 27th 2017
Landing letter -July 27th 2017

No update on CIC, still application (and background check) in progress.

Pretty fast! Congrats to you!

Hello everyone,

I'm Oct 2016 applicant, sent my home country police checks and medical upfront. I lived in Uruguay for over 6 months and I could not get the PC from this country to send it upfront but now I have this document in hand. I'm wondering if I should send it by Case specific enquiry or I have to wait if CIC will eventually request it. Thanks a lot.

ECAS SHOWING DECISION MADE ON PA SIDE!!! waiting for the 6 pm email! but they didn't ask for RPRF yet
Congratulations!

I not sure honestly, but I would probably send it via CSE. The thing is that sending non-requested documents might slow down your application, but if they ask it later, that will slow you down anyway. It takes about 45-60 days for them to review what you send them and 2 months will bring you exactly in the period where you should expect to see some movements from CIC.

Profiler is a sorcerer! (And I am so brain dead today I actually had to google how to spell sorcerer :p)

This is a true story...
