no, because you are the one being sponsored, so you cannot sponsor yourself. Those are generic forms. You could co-sign, for example, if your husband would be sponsoring a parent or a child. In IMM1344E There is a question co-signer.
So if my husband sponsors me .
I am on a worker permit and working in Canada
Can I co-sign?
it says it has to be spouse only who can co-sign.
I thought I read you saying once that the only way for them to achieve 12 months was to process everyone together.Did I say that? Why don't I remember it??
*confused*
Sounds too smart for me... must have been @sylvain1I thought I read you saying once that the only way for them to achieve 12 months was to process everyone together.
If it wasn't my bad, sorry bou that
hey!!!! i would like to eat some chicken that takes 8 weeks from egg to table. .Jerk, right here!
Oh, you mean chicken... mmmmmm
There is no minimal income to sponsor a spouse, as long as he is not on welfare, there is no problem. Thanks
My husbands just started a business last year and he showed a loss in his taxes recently.
I work and we live in his parents home so we easily make both ends meet.
While filling the application for in-land i dont see anywhere where they ask (principal applicant) of their bank statements or job history.
I am just worried if they decline him to sponsor
Ever been to Moose Winooski's in KW? It's at Sportsworld Drive on the way along hwy #8 into Kitchener... They have a reasonable selection of chicken wings (and by extension, Nachos with chicken on them)... their Jerk Chicken is pretty good... The wings are YUUUUGE as well..hey!!!! i would like to eat some chicken that takes 8 weeks from egg to table. .

No, but I did make a joke about that though. There was someone getting DM after 5 months about at the same time as my wife got her DM after 19 months, so I said this is exactly how CIC is getting an average of 12 months!Sounds too smart for me... must have been @sylvain1
Ya stop there next time you are in the area.... or if you are in DT Kitchener, another potential Jerk Chicken spot might be McCabe's (if you like Irish pub fare -- this might be a great spot for you)was in Kitchener 2 weeks ago
could well have sampled some
but i am going to check it out
See, that sounded smart... must have been you... I have never ever said anything remotely smart in my life....everNo, but I did make a joke about that though. However, for all those whose application takes longer, I know the feeling. But the fact is that CIC is mainly processing in a first in first out manner. However for some people it takes longer to get their security checks, so that's when you "get out of the line" and wait for this to be over. During that time, people that applied after you but that their security checks are done will (and should) land before you. It's no fun to hear, I know. In any cases, you should not worry about the process. If CIC is not satisfied with the proofs you submitted, they will give you the opportunity to address their concerns. Sooner or later, you will get your PR, so please, just enjoy your everyday life. That's much more important than the whole PR process.
If your wife has a full-time job (and the OWP along with it), then if they write a letter stating: she is employed with them, the position she holds (and a brief description), and that they intend to employ her for at least 6 months. She can take that to Service Ontario. They will grant OHIP after 3 months.Hi Profiler,
Except acknowledgement of application, we have nothing else Aug 23, 2016.
Can my wife apply for OHIP now with a full time job offer letter or she needs to wait for 6 months of working on work permit to apply for OHIP? I tried service ontario for my luck but they said we need sponsor approval email to issue OHIP
Hopefully by that time PR would come anyways...hopefully!
