I called CBSA, the numbert that you gave me last time.

I think I got 3 big boxes of stuff, like kitchen application, household application, craft material, bla bla bla. Would like to bring the jewellery, but seems too risky to mail it here.

I tried to talk to CIC (the interview one), but they transfer me to CBSA at the centre. Everyone said it is non of their business. I was very helpless. And told me to cross aboard. We are curious if I have already landed after the interview, as I have never left Canada since I applied for the sponsorship.

Again, thanks Profiler!

Did you explain to the first person that you applied inland? Sounds like you called the CIC call centre!

In terms of goods, are we talking furniture, or are we talking clothing, jewelry, etc?

Wow....1000 pages+!!!! Sweet....

Weird. MP time. Call your local MP and stress the problem to them. Explain that no one is helping you with the process. Most *good* MP's will intervene.

If it was me, ditch the kitchen and household appliances. You can replace those here (are you sure the power requirements are the same???). Other material you can have your parents send as "gifts". Jewelry, you stated your parents are coming for a visit -- Mom can bring those as "hers".

Guys, when submitting your ID picture in landing interview, is that the same instructions when you submitted your inland application? "With your name and address at the back of the picture"

thanks

Yes. tell them it's for a passport photo. Most of the time, they have a stamp and they just stamp it on.

Is the passport valid still? Usually it means they are worried it might not be, or might not be when they go to land you.

Very possible that security is still in progress. They are seeking to issue a PR (the manual states this stipulation, this is how I know). So, it may still be in progress, or it may already be finished.

You can also call the call centre to ask the status of the Security check to find out.

Passport still valid for around 9 months. Today I resent to CIC same copy that they already have.
Let's wait and see their reply.

Just received an email regarding the landing interview.

Dear Sir/Madam:

I am pleased to advise you that the processing of your application for permanent residence will be finalized at an interview that has been scheduled for:

DATE: 12/07/2017 TIME: Anytime between 3:00-3:30 PM LOCATION: 5353 Dundas Street West, Ground Floor, Etobicoke"

Safe to assume that it's on December 7th and not July 12th?

Hate this, the format it's not consistent.

Congratulations! But no, the safe assumption is July 12th. They send invitation 1-2 weeks before the appointment.

@legolg and others waiting on Etobicoke: @mtommy79 announced a SA/AIP and DM on June 13. They are landing ~1 month later at Etobicoke, with a ~1 week lead time....
