Hello all!

I applied for inland on December 20, 2016. So far all I have received is OWP and change in medical status as passed.
I am worried about not receiving SA as some people say they get it in few months. I am worried.

Should I apply for GCMS notes ?? Will asking for gcms put a negative effect on application ? Or should i wait for SA before applying for GCMS notes ??

Thanks a lot.

No you shouldn't be. No I don't think it will. If it was me, I would call to make sure they have everything they need from you. As long as they do, then I wouldn't worry.

However, by all means, order GCMS notes.

Thank you so much Profiler.
We are so lucky that you are on the forum for 2016 people. Luckily I applied in last few days of 2016.

i was reading on the other topic if tourist days status are counted on citizenship.

Any "status" before PR is counted as half days, up to 365 days.

No, probably closer to 1.5 - 2 yrs. For every day before PR, it's counted as a 1/2 day toward citizenship.

oh ok, i thought your only allowed to a max of 365 days, then count it as half day, that's why i came up with 6 months.

If you have 730 days before PR, that will give you the 365 days. Then add your PR time in Canada, and it must total 1095

From the day I entered Canada up to a day before i become PR i have 587 days in total, How many day is counted?

587 / 2 = 293.5

You need 801.5 days as a PR. == 2.195890410958904 years.

HERE COMES THE TSUNAMI :)
