Hafeez, upload the document via a case specific enquiry on IRCC website. Here is the link:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp

After you enter all relevant information, it will ask you if you want to upload a document. You can then you can upload the PCC as a pdf file. Make sure to include the letter they sent you requesting the PCC.

Did they change the requirement for PCC's to be originals? In August, they asked to be sent originals...

recent PCC requests has people uploading the PCC's to their MYCIC account, so i don't think IRCC is requiring the originals to be mailed anymore.

I haven't seen the new form letter, so I wouldn't know. I can only comment (or request for comment) based on August information. Thanks for clearing that up. That said, I sent them some pdf's a month ago, and two days ago, the call centre had no record of it.

yeah, i'm not even sure if the request is coming by PDF "letter". I *think* people are getting notifications of a request in their MyCIC account, which triggers an email/text, and the request is found there. Again, i'm not exactly sure since i'm not a current applicant, but it seems they want everything flowing through MyCIC now, if available. if you have MyCIC, i'd recommend trying to upload your documents there to see if it gets recognized.

My bad. I thought he had already sent it and wanted proof of confirmation so I said upload a scanned of PCC and send via CSE. That is why I said scan and upload it.

Apologies Hafeez. I would send the hard copy first.

Edited: I will try to locate address to send it.

oh, maybe i'm wrong about it flowing through MyCIC? who knows, IRCC switches it up so often, it's hard to keep track. :)

what this means?

"This refers to the Application for Permanent Residence you made under the Spouse or
Common-Law Partner in Canada Class.
It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent
residence as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class. Please note that
a final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements for becoming a permanent
resident have been met. These requirements include medical, security and background checks
for you and, if applicable, all of your family members, both in Canada and abroad, even if they
are not applying to join you in Canada at this time. You cannot become a permanent resident
until you and all your family members have met these requirements."

I think you might be right but if Hafeez is still under the old system does he do it the new system way?

I should have asked when he submitted his application. The letter that requested the PCC should have stated how or where to send it. Hafeez, please review the letter again.
