I called this morning their 1800 number and now they are processing app received by "Tuesday Aug 25th,2015".
IMOP, I think they are working in a full pace , since beginning of the year to now, the jumped from July to end of August in matter of 15 days.

EDIT: I did verify this. Looking at the inland spreadsheet, and acknowledging that it's maybe 2% of who actually applied, they should be at December in a couple weeks. Where is Maria -- we need to get planning some landing parties .

And someone in the 2015 inland thread claims to have received a landing invitation..... Carol, Simpsol22, etc -- looks like you're up next!

I am a November 2015 and I received the email for landing interview this morning in the Ottawa office. My landing date is 24th of January but I will not be able to attend since I am going to Toronto for training for work from 23rd to 26th. I called CIC and the gentleman sent an email to CIC Ottawa requesting to reschedule the landing interview. Anyone, who has had a similar experience? Senior members please shed some light.

Totally user error too... I think it's great when you reproduce the problem with them showing you how they are using the tool. You then turn around and explain to them that they need to RTFM (you can google that).

My wife applied March 2016, and BG check started about June/July. So about 4 months..

Not to sound callus but, I am really not surprised. What's happening, it's no surprise to me. They are hoping to finish 2016's by December 2017. Whatever that means for their internal timeline is up to them at this point. They have yet to communicate how that will look. So, just about everyone is guessing.

so they have moved one month in two weeks. reasonable speed

I revising my projection: by mid February they will start processing 2016 applications.

I am an end of January applicant my projection is that I will get DM on March 1st, 2017.

Venture to guess your DM date? Anybody? 8)
