Dec.20/2015 - 12.87 months - 390 days since app received. (No SA/AIP), Criminal Rec. Req. Jul10/2016 ... medical with application.

"Wait" is something very very boring!

I am Dec. 1/2015....so a tiny bit longer than you. My ECAS just updated to medical received today...and my MyCIC showed passed 2 hrs later. I did mine "upfront" June 4, 2016. I had a criminal record request in June, despite them already having it--so just sent a copy and seems to be fine so far.

Could be very soon for all of us December.

Guys i requested GCMS notes on Dec 2 ..No updates till yet...should i put an AITP status request. Have anybody done that ?

Yes, I did. I've done it 3 times, then a conplaint to the feseral Privacy Commissioner.

You can ask them for an update. Their response will be that the request is being processed with priority.

After a complaint was filed (ATIP stated they were due Sept 22, I didn't have them by Dec -- so after my MP didn't get any where I filed a privacy complaint), I finally got my notes Dec 29. But now CIC's ATIP has to answer to an adjudicator.

Hi guys , my spouse did medical on 15 Jan 2016 . I believe that medical has expired and we have to do it again. I am thinking if we now do it upfront , it could save some time ...what do you guys think. I am march 29 2016 applicant

I absolutely would not. Nope. Wait for them to tell you they're ready for it. I suspect they will accept it as passed anyway. So just wait.

Even I applied on 29 April 2016, completed my medicals (upfront) in July'2016. Dunno when I would get to hear from them, also wondering if they would request medicals to be done afresh.

It's also dependent on your passport...if your passport is valid less than 2 years.....your OWP will match that date of it's expiry.

Hi Guys,

What is the duration of the OWP, 1yr, 2 or 3yrs?

The earliest of: 2yrs or passport expiry - 1 month.

Good Morning ,

Hi, good morning.

Usually how long does it take to get SA ??

Inland usually takes a very long time. Eg: Some from December 2015 don't have it yet. Our application was filed on March 2nd 2016 and we don't have it. So, sit back and relax. It should be done before December 2017 :).

Since i am an INLAND App, will i receive the second AOR?

Some get it, some don't. Literally this game is "We'll call you if there is a problem."

Thank you in Advance

You bet.

Thank you !!!
Have a great Day!
