profiler said:You're just getting started. ~4 months from the day they got your package. Some have been able to link their OWP. We didn't bother and just before 4 mos it showed up.
Perhaps those people can share how to link it. It seems to me that if you have a representative (lawyer, consultant) they will only be able to see your application.

or if both you and your partner are in Canada (I assume this is the case): http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-personal.asp

then I get to the end and it asks if I am requesting info on "Privacy Act" (no charge) or "Access to Information Act" ($5).... which should I select?
polarvolcano said:Privacy Act. But in this case you should act as if you are your wife and then have your 'wife' ask for herself. She doesn't need to be a Canadian Citizen to ask, she only needs to be inside of Canada.
volkov said:should I also do one for myself as Sponsor and would it have different note based on my "In Process" Sponsorship?
hsiehsy said:I guess i will have to call in to ask in maybe a few days. I am a bit concerned if they got the right package for my OWP application or not, because i missed one receipt for my OWP application in the first submission along with the PR application, and then i immediately sent the complete owp application again with a cover letter. Fortunately, two package have arrived in the same day.
Btw, wondering how long does it take usually for the AOR2? or maybe in some cases there is no AOR2 at all ?
My AOR1 was received by sponsor, is it the same with AOR2?

then it asks "type" and there are 2 that seem to fit "Permanent Residence" or "Family Class Spouse in Canada Class" .... which is the one ?
more complicated questions come after that... I exited it and waiting for replies as I don't want to do it wrong
profiler said:We did this:
- apply for privacy act
- filled out consent form. My wife section A, me section C. Upload that file at the end of the process when it asks for attachments.
- you're requesting information for yourself. Make a note in the text field that you want sponsorship and permanent residence application GCMS notes. You can also request medical notes if that's of interest or concern.
volkov said:thanks, I sent already so can't go back now, hope there are more than one way to the same goal
volkov said:got it, thanks... just submitted one for sponsor notes too, so both of us are covered, thanks lots for all your help
