FYI CPC Vegreville is being shut down and moved to Edmonton. I don't expect much productive work to be coming out of this case processing center. It's basically the only thing the town has.

If I'm the millionaire, than what are the Vancouveranians ?! hah ;D

There is a single "Canadian" word (or two International words) for the old blooded ones..

"LUCKY"
Or
"F&/^$*$/ LUCKY"

If they sold a yr ago, they made a literal mil... Too bad that market is now so overpriced, and they have tossed a new tax on it for foreign buyers to slow the rate of increase... it will cool off :(. Besides, Vancity is pretty expensive to live in...

Guys I have an important question concerning spousal sponsorship.

My spouse was a non-accompanying dependent on my PR application. (I could not add her to my application because I live in Quebec and Quebec laws of adding spouse are not very clear).

As part of my PR processing requirements, she had her background and security checks done while she was residing in Canada with me on Open Work Permit. (She still is residing here)

My question is should I apply for her through Inland spousal sponsorship or through Family class (Outland) ? I want to avoid Inland because of its 24 month processing time. But since my spouse already had her background and security checks through my PR application while she was in Canada, would it make her in-Land sponsorship go faster?

Thanks!

Ouch. I think you might be out of luck. If you just apply for spousal sponsorship you will put in the queue like anyone else. Sounds like a special case to me. I don't recommend inland if you can avoid it unless her OWP is expiring and you want to get her another one as part of the pilot program.
