@Profiler: How old were your PCC? Did your spouse visit that country after the PCC was issued? And do you think it will be a better idea to apply for a PCC ahead of time? as mine were also like 2 years old?

6 months they expire. I'd get them and submit new with your app. Consulates, embassies and high commissions can issue them..

@Profiler when they ask for PCC it means your file or process is going good and when they say in line 2 in process is that good and 3 Rd line when it says medical results is received is that good been 10 months we send it Dec 15 2015 started processing in Jan 15 2016

No documemt requests slow your progress down. But they will try to process faster to keep your medical results valid..

I paid 180 in Scarborough

There ya go, maria_mirabela... sounds like Scarberia is the ticket!

That said, they probably don't have BBQ...

I'll just be sending in the application along with the copies and receipt that we have requested for the Police Certificate and wait until they arrive to forward it to the CIC since they do expire 6 months after issuance.

Take a look at the spreadsheet. We have not answered because we are not October 2016 applicants.

Edited: According to spreadsheet, as this moment, 7 people have received AOR for October 2016.

I wasn't talking about October 2016 my earlier post said October 2015. If I knew about the spreadsheet I wouldn't have asked. This was a bad idea

Hopefully they don't return it. If one is an FBI cert they can do a cursory check themselves. Same with Commonwealth nations, they are not alien to each other, so you can sign a consent that they get it direct...

Sorry, what was a bad idea? You're waiting for a PR to leave, if I remember... right?

Hopefully they do not! But I have attached the copy and receipt from the Japanese Consulate of Canada stating that it will take 8-10 weeks to process the certificate and have it received by the applicant.

I'm not too sure about the FBI one-- we didn't see any forms that allows us for it be directed to CIC. It'd be great if they can do it themselves though lol

Well you still have to submit it, because it's more about history than current... use a channeler, they apparently are pretty fast..

@Profiler I get it but all good, as long it is in process in line 2 and no decision as yet. Has your guys got any more request as yet we did medical test in November 2015, what do you ,
Mean to process quick so the medical does not expire so in our favor when visa office on line 2 has it in process it's good

Right now try to not focus on that info.. it's likely out of date. They are processing very fast, but there is 75,000 inland apps in inventory alone..

That said, SIR is paying attention to medical and passport expiries. Ask your lawyer if you are unsure...
