Here too. They receieved our paper copy yesterday.

I've check My CIC just now and it shows APPLICATION/PROFILE Status Closed - Final Decision has been approved

so wait for the mail for the original copy of OWP?

Hey Everyone I posted this question a few days ago and hoping someone could help me out.

I am new to the forum. I submittd my inland application and it was received by cic on March 14 2016.

I was out of status when I submitted my application and I didn't send an application for OWP along with my application.
It's been 7 months now and I was wondering if now would be a good time to apply for OWP or do I have to wait until I receive first stage approval?

hi. I`m an inland applicant from Montreal, QC and submitted my application August 11th. It`s been 27 days but neither me nor my wife (sponsor) received AOR. I checked the website today using my UCI# on my current open work permit and saw that it says Application Received. Amen to that, but shall I take it as an AOR? May I have some insight please. Also, the letter I`m supposed receive and then send to MIDI in Quebec comes buy email or regular post? Thanks everybody in advance.

My second paper copy PCC reached on Thrusday but we havent got any acknowledgement.. Did you got your acknowledgement ?

It took us 50 days to receive our AOR, so I wouldn't worry about not receiving AOR yet at 27 days. Your OWP app is separate from your PR app, so your AOR is still on its way.

Mine was receive last august 12, still no acknowledgement that's why i do CSE last week and my concern was already forwarded to deparment responsible for it.

I submitted our secind one via CSE and courier. They answered the CSE.

For those with an AIP, does the ECAS Permanent Application Status say Application Received or In Process? Ours has always stayed as AR although we have a second record noting that upfront medical has been received... I saw some Outland applications with status as IP, are Inland apps not supposed to have this stage as well?

Hello Everyone,

My application was received June 28, 2016. I was trying to link my paper application to the online services, and while looking back through my paperwork I discovered that on my Generic Application form for Canada, I entered my birthday wrong by a year (It's correct on every other form). :-X I panicked and called Mississauga, sat on hold for 20 minutes, and was told that until they start processing my application, there isn't anything they can do. Once they start processing, IRCC will contact me to verify the correct date or they will just take the information from my passport.

Has anyone else had to deal with this? What did you do, and did IRCC contact you?

Based on what i've read on this forum before, if you submitted your inland application when you are already out of status, if you apply together with OWP you will get an approval once your are appoved as applicant AIP which normally takes a year or so. Try to apply for the restoration of status, once you get approved, send an OWP application.

So... I've been stalking the CIC website like a hawk!
My husbands app was sent March 21, 2016.
& today the status changed from "in process" to "decision made".
We sent the RPRF with the application and did the medical and the time has come.
All we are waiting for now is the email or letter .. this is nerve wrecking. ???
