Hello everyone,
I am all new to this. I am sponsoring my wife in land and I am from Quebec.
I received a letter to apply to the MIDI for certificate de selection. The letter also stated I needed to fill out a IRCC webform, from what I can tell it has to do with my wife's last entry into Canada.
If anyone has any insight into this process I would appreciate it.

Appropriately, I just received my GCMS notes which are somewhat interesting now that I don't have to read them with this notion of panic accompanying me.
I can sit down after my interview on Thursday and write down a bit more detail about my case if anyone is interested.

Today is a fantastic day in our house. I was going through my regular routine this morning by checking the forum, the timeline doc, myCIC, and ecas with no results.

Decided to check MyCIC this afternoon and saw that my husbands work permit is APPROVED!!!

Defiantly celebrating tonight!

FYI the application was May 10th. Good luck to all of those who applied in the same time bracket. Now to desperately wait for it to come in the mail.

I've check My CIC just now and it shows APPLICATION/PROFILE Status Closed - Final Decision has been approved

so wait for the mail for the original copy of OWP?

Yeah I knew they likely wouldn't. I would have actually tried anyway if it was super important.

Canada is a pretty big place. I have heard the drive from Alberta to Ontario is really only interesting at either end. Is that so?

Yeah once you hit the trees in Ontario, it's just flat. We considered the trip...maybe a year from now we can hit Alta.

Hi guys, I checked online status this morning and saw that the Sponsorship Application Status has changed from "In Process" to "Decision Made". What does this mean? We have already received AIP back in July...

Also noticed under the PR application status that they have received our upfront medical. I guess they are batch updating the website today!
