It may well be mine has been reviewed as they had to read it to input it?.

Maybe this is something to submit via CSE? You know I would be saying, "Canad1anAl1en has it -- we want it too!" ;)

sanMUG, It's up to you, personally we did it as it looked like we MAY be in the streamlining, and anything that swung the decision seemed a good idea.

BUT if you do decide to do them now, owing to when you filed your application, you will not benefit from streamlining...only applications received by IRCC before 13/6/2016 are included in the program, so you are being processed at normal speed..sorry.

Does anybody have any experience using puralotor to send docs to vegreville alberta ? Is it ok..since Canada post strike is looming so not preferring it

Im hoping moving forward they dont go back to their snails pace for processing everything!!! Especially the straight forward applications which i believe mine would be.

I sent off my application on June 30 and it was received on July 5! Imagine if everyone had of known beforehand to get their docs in before June 13. All I was waiting on was letters from family and friends to prove common law. I would have bugged and bugged them to have it to be well before then to get it in on time :(

Oh well.. Ill just keep creeping the forum and my CIC online till something comes though lol

Isn't Puralotor owned and operated by Canada Post?

Any Canadians know do they still operate if CP go on strike?

The problem was bex, no-one knew, they only announced the programs implementation after the date had passed (probably to stop people like yourself flooding them with a deluge of applications before cut-off) so it is definitely not something to beat yourself up about, going could have, should have, would have. For those of us in with the chance of streamlining, it is most assuredly just right place, right time....for once.

Purolator worked fine for sending to CPC-M.
See here: http://globalnews.ca/news/2794470/canada-post-work-stoppage-what-you-need-to-know-if-service-stops/

From the story: "
FedEx, UPS and Purolator are among the big-name delivery providers in Canada. UPS Canada said in a statement it is prepared to take on additional packages should there be a Canada Post work stoppage. "

I got my OWP in the mail today! Happy day!

Anyone have experience with this? I haven't sent in my medical yet, and I read online that means I can't work in medical or certain educational areas. However, the only listed conditions on my actual work permit are that I can't attend school and I can't work in businesses related to the sex trade (obviously!). So, can I work in medical or educational after all? Does anyone else have a work permit that states you can't work in those fields?

i have a question, if you get OWP it means your SA is approved?

Simple answer...no.

Owing to Inland normal processing times, you could have your OWP and only have your AOR...in fact prior to the streamlining that was quite normal.

Hello everyone, I asked the same question in inland 2015 post but it seemed like nobody had the same experience. I think I'd try asking here. I tried calling CIC many times but I couldn't get through.

Anybody had this experience? Please advise.

I am a December 30, 2015 applicant. I didn’t send OWP application with my PR application so I extended my Temporary Resident visa in March 2016 and it will be expired on October 4, 2016. In June 2016 I decided to apply for OWP and now I’m still waiting for it ( I sent my application to CPC – Vegreville).
In case I don’t get my open work permit soon do I have to extend my TRV again in September or am I under implied status?
