Thanks Everyone!

We will continue to anxiously wait for September. Although I doubt I can stop checking the accounts and timeline spreadsheet everyday! :)

dont worry, we've all developed that addiction.... but before we know it we will be longing for the days we didnt have to work when we eventually get this elusive OWP!

Yes we (well really me) check multiple times per day. We (well I ) just checked yet again. :-[

Yes its definatly becoming an addiction, I dont know what I'll do with my free time throughout the day when I can finally stop checking. Most likely it will move onto the PR and when that will come! Searching the internet for hours for small amounts of information lol.

I've got to say, just as CanadianAliens wife, I never knew this process was so lenghly and stressful. We did have a little celebration when we saw that we were apart of the fast track spousal applications, waiting 26 months of checking everyday would drive me even more crazy.

Ringlands - I don't think we will ever long the days of my husband not working lol!

Try to go on fishing guys. It's good activity to kill time. You can save money too for grocery. Enjoy while it's still summer. Fresh fish.

Ours was about 4 days before we could complain.

Don't worry, you're not alone. We all hate Tuesdays...

I received my OWP yesterday, dated 08/16/2016!

Also, I wish to share one more peice of information, neither me nor my sponsor had received any approval email before the OWP was sent out.

I already have a part time job with a bank (I was allowed 20 hours/week on my study permit). Is it possible to apply for the OHIP now?

ServiceOntario needs a letter from your manager, on bank stationary, that states they intend to employ you for at least 6 months. They also need to know the nature of your employment, and it needs to be signed in BLACK INK (they told us they will reject anything not signed in black ink). Also bring your study permit, so they are aware you did have clearance to work.

From the day you apply, you will have to wait 90 days.

Last piece of advise here: You need to find a full-service ServiceOntario office.

Good luck!

Thank you. Does this includes common law sponsorship ???? because I realized that they only mention marriage

Yes, IRCC recognize both marriage and common-law
