57 days apparently to be shipped out, according to the check processing times tool.

To come back without, take your passport and COPR to a Canadian high commission or embassy and ask for a PR Travel Document. $50 and one time use.

Conversation for sure. They saw my wife's passport and exclaimed, "The Russian Federation?!". Then smiled and asked us to take a seat.

So you'll have an awesome Canada Day now :)

regardings to this, what about those who are now visa exempt... would this still work? then again I think its pointless for me to leave without the card and just the COPR since there's no Canadian embassy in my home country.

Dun matter. Wisa-Exempt or Wisa-Requiring. If you have a COPR / PR Card / Canadian Passport or proof of citizenship, you get to go into the express lines to enter ;). No visa's are required....

ONLY if you don't have a card. It is the embassy saying that you are a PR. It's a one-time use document to appease the border and the airline that you can return in the express lane with the rest of us :).

Statuses in Canada (what guarantee's you the right to enter):
- Citizen or PR.

Other statuses (that may require visas, etc):
- Refugee (??? I think ???)
- Visitor
- Work
- Student

Yes, that's what I mean.. i'll look into it and see if there's one in my home country just incase.

Hi guys! I was looking at the spreadsheet, one update caught my attention. It's cmandva's application which was received on May 19. 2017. her update was CIC confirmed the lost of her application today (June 27. 2017). How does that happen? So once we received AOR it means that they didn't lose the application. It would be really frustrating if you got the news that the application was lost. Imagine all the hard work to pass an application then it's all gone. Saaaaaaaaaaaddddddddddddddd!!!

I just updated my post for you...

I understood what you were saying but my question was what if there's no embassy in your home country and you're traveling with just the COPR

AOR means that not only do they have it, but they are acknowledging that there is actually an application being made (if you file paperwork without evidence requested, or paying the fees, that's considered not filed and will be rejected).

NO EMBASSY??? IS THIS NORTH KOREA???

Canada has embassy's everywhere they have any kind of diplomatic relations. High Commissions exist in Commonwealth nations.

See: https://travel.gc.ca/assistance/embassies-consulates/antigua-and-barbuda

I just checked lol.. There is no resident Canadian government office in Antigua and Barbuda. You can obtain consular assistance and further consular information from the High Commission of Canada in Bridgetown, Barbados. Thats where we go for a US visa also lol. 30 mins flight.. .about 250USD return
