Yeah, we were living just across the harbor from the bombing when it happened. We saw the smoke and wondered what was up. Next you know we're getting calls from people asking if we're ok. The police patrolled our streets making sure no one left their houses. My workplace (at the time the YMCA) closed down since everyone was under mandate to return to their homes and wait there until the bomber was found. The next couple weeks after they caught him were even weirder. Men with machine guns patrolling the subway stations, and random body scans and bag checks there too.

Yep, he was ready to leave and I couldn't blame him!

In my short life, I have never even imagined that I would ever be anywhere close to that type of situation. In 38 years, I am happy to report, that the closest was a person who had intent to bomb, but was caught before he could carry out the plan. Thankfully, I have not had to live through it. You see images on TV and in the news, and it seems unreal.

Almadina is mmMMmmMMmMMm's. The son of the owners likes to "experiment". I had shawarma poutine there! They also have these neat spices they toss with the fries (they are Egyptian I think?).

I mentioned 'interesting' news. It turns out that apparently our satellite constellation + terrestrial antenna network picked up position and heading information from those two vessels whom had an unfortunate meeting overnight in the Sea of Japan.... I can't say much more than that...

Did medical exam exactly a week ago. MyCIC shows already I have passed medical! Nothing else haven't updated in myCIC or ecas.

When my Medical was updated in my account that i passed, i takes 4 weeks to get the DM on both.

They said paystubs and employment letter for sponsor and the applicant.

If either are unemployed, just tell them that. Our landing invite asked for all correspondence from CIC. They never asked or looked at it...

When my Medical was updated in my account that i passed, i takes 4 weeks to get the DM on both.

For me, it took 4 days from medical passed to DM on both sides. But I think it depends about officer, how fast they are.
