Yes I have no desire to go until Agent Orange (LMAO) is gone. I caught some of the Comey action yesterday. I loved when he said that he hoped the and Agent Orange were being taped. Paul Ryan is a disgrace.

Yes Rachel will be scintillating tonight.

You know that #TrumpSwamp has been celebrating, eh? They call that #WinningBigly. Meanwhile, this: http://www.nationallawjournal.com/i...ists-Top-Criminal-Law-Expert-for-Russia-Probe indicates charges may be in the works for the swamp....

Hi, please help me out with this question.
I have received GMCS note on Feb 2017 and found that CIC has make a mistake on sponsor's last name. my husband's last name has 2 word, example "John Smith". CIC put "John" as last name and "Smith" as his middle name. So I resent his passport, citizenship card and driver licence to prove that his last name is "John Smith". But I found that on ECAS is still showing "JOHN SMITH" after 1.5 months and I called CIC again and asked them to help. The agent who picked up phone he told me no need to worried about because the officer would follow the name which on the passport.

Then today, i called CIC again because of other question. And also follow up about the correction on my sponsor's last name. This time, the agent told me that the system still showing the old wrong name of my sponsor and if I want to correct it I need to resubmit the "original passport" which can showed my sponsor's last name. I told him I did that last time and also uploaded the citizenship card. but the agent said no, it must to submit the very first passport of the sponsor which was my husband came to Canada when he was still at age 2...
I dont think my husband still keep his 2 years old passport...

does anyone knows what can i do with this stupid correction? Thanks

P.S. My husband never do any name change

Ok. So couple of things.... Your sponsor is Canadian, yes? He has citizenship? If so, don't worry too much about it.

Here's why:
When he immigrated, they created a record for him at that time, based on his parent's details. That record is forever linked to him via UCI. That means, the number on his passport, his citizenship card, etc all will forever be linked to his file. They know very well who he is.

If you're not placated by this assertion, you can easily go to a MPs office, explain the trouble with CIC, give them the ID, and have them try to sort it out.

If it was me, I would rest assured that it's a systems flaw, and that he is tied via UCI. To test, try logging into ECAS using that UCI as identification.

HTH!

I been to saint Lucia with my sister and grandma was 4 to 4.5 hours from Toronto and 1.5 hrs from St.Lucia airport

You have to understand.... I was born in Milton. I have lived in Toronto's western 'shadow' for almost 4 decades.. (that means, I have not traveled much... and St Lucia is pretty far ;)).

I do wonder, is there a visa requirement for Canadians to visit St Lucia? My guess is, like most of the "West", we have a visa-free reciprocity....

EDIT: I did actually look that up. As I suspected, there is a visa-free reciprocity, but it's only 6 wks...

no visa for Canadians

I was in Wegas once... God I hated that place. I've also been up a lot of Canada's east coast... Does that count? If not, I did stand on the ocean floor.... :)

long flight or us customs

long flight or us customs

3hr flight over the grand canyon... First flight for me, and the WestJet pilot wanted to show everyone why his job is the greatest.. he barrel-rolled the 737 repeatedly for sky photos... Ground, space, ground, space. I am pretty sure I saw my life flashing before my eyes, as he didn't tell us (or I didn't hear) that he'd do that.....

US Customs was <10 literal Seconds. Cleared at Pearson

  • You may see an incorrect application status asking for a medical exam or additional documents. If you actually need to send any documents or do a medical, you will see a message in your account and a letter explaining what you need to do. "
