we done last Friday but when people got everything they left with a smile. than one side was people doing interview looked pissd when they went into the little office landing interview is in booth

A musing of mine lately is why out of order letters, and why a landing invite mere minutes after DM..

I wonder if the MP's contact people are at local (to their constituency) offices...

This can explain why they were so willing/eager to help, and, how Kitchener knew there was a landing happening...and the MPs office tried hard to rush our medical...

They all seem to know (I only told MPs office) when the medical was... and "hurry"? Kitchener moved within an hour to switch our DM to a landing...

Hmm... conspiracy? I THINK YES!

In your case, they wanted to work out landing quickly to avoid an expiring passport (they had already delayed you because your rep didn't vet your case for you). That totally makes sense.

For those waiting for a landing office to call, if their MP can contact the office to see about an appointment, their landings (and thus, by extension, happy endings -- no pun intended) can be granted!

that's true the hubby getting new passport,pr card coming 6 to 8 weeks,real sin paper 6-8weeks and new ohip for him 3 months and it's behind us with quick landing I guess we got lucky with his medical done in 2015 they were happy with it do not knock it lol

It was for us....

I would say...not yet. It's possible, you will see CIC love quick...like Voodoo Did... one afternoon went from nothing to DM.

What region are you in? Some MP's are not terribly helpful... ours was omg -- like you cannot, not, not for this guy again. Like -- you can't. He is in the weeds fixing immigration, and his office insisted on helping, so I wouldn't have to request GCMS notes. How awesome is that??? YMMV of course... and it will depend on what region/who the MP is.

Even WOLFHAWK, who filed like a couple weeks ago, with a rep, used his MP to get info (rep isuseless, except as an oxygen thief).

I'm in Etobicoke. North. my wife actually works for the MP... lakeshore I think lol. Never really paid attention to the offices before. She doesn't work for the parliament offices but one of his businesses.
