Looks like I'll join in on the fun here.

Application was delivered to CIC in Mississauga via Canada Post March 22nd 2016.

Sent the OWP application along with the PR Sponsorship together, now the waiting begins.

Forgot to say I also added my info into the spreadsheet, and I'd encourage everyone else to do the same :)

Thank you 9symmerty :)

By the way guys, just a little confusion. Did you print your notice of assessment from your computer by logging in in to your cra account? option c print out.

or

notice of assessment received from canada post sent by cra?

the best is to get a NOA from CRA not in online since CIC is looking for original copy

Yes you can apply for a month before it expires and yes processing time is up to 4 mos.. You can apply to renew your permit earlier, rather than wait for a month before your permit expire. Work permit and spouse OWP has different processing times

Excuse me, I am in the same case, the visa is going to expire in a month!

What is the status being I get the OWP?
Do I need to apply for the visitor extension?

Cheers

Have you applied for your SOWP yet? If you haven't you might wanna apply now. And you don't have to get a TRV because your OWP application will give you an implied status until you get your new OWP. Though I don't know how it works when youre still holding a work permit. You might wanna start a new thread or better yet post a question on this thread "INLAND APPLICATIONS 2015"

I am a visitor right now, and going to apply for the spousal sponsorship + OWP

I am going to send everything out on Monday, but my visa expiry date is in May..

You'll be fine just make sure that your application is complete (signatures, no missing documents or payment) so you don't have to worry about getting your application back (after may) coz if you do get your app back then you will lose your implied status and won't qualify for OWP once you re-send your application or you would have to apply for Restoration. That was just an advice, there was few of us here (including myself) that have missed one thing. I was worried so I had to apply for a visit visa renewal the day I was about to lose my status. Good luck to your application! :)

Yes! That is correct! Would she be applying for OWP too? If she is the payment feebfor OWP would be :
$155- OWP
$100-INITIAL WORK PERMIT
TOTAL OF $255
