I received the same email it says:ngrrox said:If you are receiving the same email as others receiving today, it clearly says in the bottom of page 1
"If you have not yet submitted the following documents, you must submit them to this office:"
"If you have already submitted police certificates as noted above please disregard"
So it is mostly a group sending reminder email to me and someone has called CIC and confirmed that. But do come back and check what others say..
Not me,not yet,not as of now. Maybe later on today or this week. I am anxiously waiting to hear some good news.profiler said:I have a feeling that someone has an SA/AIP coming.... Where is legolg -- is it you?!
Maybe it's Carol? Browning? Botengcoke?
GUYANAGIRL?? C'mon... someone has to have an SA or AIP for me today...
So, we got some news about 2 weeks after the anniversary. Soooo.... Yeah. Either today, or perhaps Sugary Tuesday. Check in ECAS....legolg said:Not me,not yet,not as of now. Maybe later on today or this week. I am anxiously waiting to hear some good news.
why's that, if you don't mind me asking.profiler said:Then I wouldn't worry about it.
The application type is "Open Work Permit". Just by nature, "Open" means "Any" in this context. So, it's not going to matter if you have an employer (or selected that box in error) or not. In fact, if it wasn't for the reuse of forms (to avoid redesign and maintenance), I don't even think they would include that check box at all...leb said:why's that, if you don't mind me asking.

I receive the email too about 20 minutes ago.lizololo said:looks generic indeed. It says in the letter : if you already submitted Police Certificate then disregard the letter.
There is a spreadsheet that has reported progress.leb said:thanks for that...the selection that they put in the from sometime is not make scene...
Does anyone know how long is the average time for SA...? I been waiting for 6 months now...
No. They will specifically ask for fingerprints. Otherwise, they can ask RCMP themselves.smavg said:I receive the email too about 20 minutes ago.
That makes me think: should I submit a new Canadian police certificate when I hit the 6-month mark in May? I applied in Nov 2. Has been here since early October on a multiple tourist visa, and received my OWP last month.
[Edit: I have submitted police certificates from all countries I've lived since I was 18]
I've been checking everything.profiler said:So, we got some news about 2 weeks after the anniversary. Soooo.... Yeah. Either today, or perhaps Sugary Tuesday. Check in ECAS....
