Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications 2016 timeline and updates

Hi All,

I have submitted my inland application on April 1, 2016 and already received AOR1 and AOR2.
Can anyone tell me is there any thread or doc which will guide me the step by step
procedure by mentioning all details?

In my pinion your application will start process now, I have seen your older posts it seems to be your current stays is expiring soon. That's the reason your application process is faster then others.

hi just an update i got 2nd AOR today... So as an overview i have...

Application arrived at CIC 11th May 2016
AOR1 (in sponsor's email) 17th May 2016
AOR2 (in applicant's email as a PDF) 29th June 2016

AOR 1: June 01
Request for 5669 and 5406: June 23
Uploaded 5669 and 5406: June 28
AOR 2: June 29

We had to re-mail OWP app (June 19) due to unsigned form, we haven't heard from CIC since.

In our case, I (sponsor) received AOR 1 and my spouse received AOR 2.

If you already received AOR 2, I honestly wouldn't worry about AOR 1.

Did you mail the OWP app with your Sponsorship app? We did but it was sent back to us due to missing signature so we had to sign the form and mail it back.

If you already received AOR 2, I honestly wouldn't worry about AOR 1.

Yes, I mailed the OWP with my spousal sponsorship application. The AOR2 (applicant) is the only thing I have received today.

I would say in this case, as you have the AOR2....no news is good news...prior to issuing the AOR's they check everything is ok and send it back if, as the previous poster stated anything is wrong, the fact you haven't heard suggests it's ok.
