We got medical request yesterday. called today and the call center claimed they dont have the medical results on file. We had the medical completed in In January 2016 and submitted it with the original application.
We decided not to argue this and week after next we are redoing the medical. another few hundred $$$ down the drain...
:( sorry to hear. Another mistake by cic. Could always try and submit by cse...but probably better to redo. At least you are almost done with the process now.

My wife did her medical in Aug/2015 and we send her application in Dec/2015... her medical is already expired 5 months.

I cant understanf how they loose our stuff...they dont know everything costs money??? Anothet medical, another $280..I sympatize with you.

IRCC has the ability to extend the medical so do not do another medical unless they ask you to redo.

@Zumbagirl: Did any point in time your myCIC account show Medical Passed? I did mine upfront too and after two months of doing it, it shows passed. I was just wondering if it can go back to passed medical to re-do medical status (meaning I get an email for doing medical again).

Thanks
Sam

hi, anyone who knew my story for the last couple days, i got another update. so i called cic today, and they managed to find my missing (previously said cancelled) medical, that i did last year, she said that it wasnt link in my application/account, so she gave me a confirmation number stating that they have received this medical result, and asked me to make a message to IRCC webform and let them know about what happened. i did not tell this to my consultant since at this point she's basically just useless. i hope that once cic received this and look in to my account, we could hear some good news.

@browning911: So if Mycic medical shows passed, they are not gonna ask it again right?

Sam
Not necessarily. I've seen some have it passed and then asked to redo. Chances are lower though once it says passed. Two last week had thiers go back to review in progress....but they later learned they got extended an extra year...switched back to passes...and are now landing later this month.

Not cool

Thanks Simpsol22 :). As it is valid till at least Dec, 2017, I hope I will not need to do another being a June, 01, 2016 Application

Simpsol22: BTW Congrats on your DM, are you planning to do a flag-polling of sorts to complete the process? Just curious.

Thanks!! For ALL inland applicants to complete the process...you wait for the local office to contact you for a landing interview. You then go and get your COPR.

I would think you should be ok at the rate they are going now.
