I still can't seem to link our application to myCIC.... my gcms notes came and said "not started" on everything, I got AOR a while ago and that has been it, March 2016 applicant here

don't know why I can't link to MyCIC, tried a bunch of times and it just says "can't find application" so a little frustrated, and maybe a bit worried that I might miss some important mail from them if it gets sent into electronic limbo land

did you try your uci number or your sponsor uci number there last name and date of birth

Generally that's how they used to do it. But my MP confirmed they had been started and meds accepted..

So, herein lies my gripe when I sit with my MP re CIC.

i have read i think on cic site or heard that they are trying to go fast but I heard they are trying to bring the yardzi to Canada and another group too

Aren't you suppose to get the AIP before they start the criminality check for the person being sponsored??

For us the criminality check for PA was done right away as soon as the application was received. At least part of it. Meanwhile, sponsor evaluation has not even been started. According to GCMS notes, unless I'm reading them wrong

I am all for doing the right thing for people, if that's what they want, and they won't cause any trouble. But I believe you should protect your own first, before you start looking for others to protect. </political view>

I agree profiler, but first work on 2015 and than 2016 than work on them

Yeah from that I recall they recently started doing the security and criminality checks as soon as a case hits GCMS because they can take the most amount of time that CIC has no control over. The rest CIC can control.

Does your myCIC panel show BG Check in progress still? Probably until they finish processing the case. BG checks also include validating documents are legit.

@Profiler basically it's like saying the cic agents,cbsa and IRCC are like gods where they are controlling our future and what my hubby laywer and her partner says it depends on the agent's mood if they are in a good mood or bad

Our lawyer tried to use that line on us too. But really, I don't think that's necessarily true. But if we are not successful, we will just apply again after correcting the issue they uncover. Eventually they will get sick of applications that have little wrong with them... right?

Also keep in mind, the MP in our riding is seated at the committee for IRCC -- he has direct contact with McCallum. If needed, we can try to use that professional relationship as a lever...

It shows still in progress but I believe they lost our police certificate so I doubt criminality will be done until they get a new one.

It's true it is all physiological and we send so many info and pics and me hypenting his last name what ridding are you we are in Lansdowne and Dupont area mmm sounds good

I tried signing up with my uci number and information, then also tried signing up with my uci number and the application number, a few different variations, failed every time

my spouse has also tried linking too and failed

Until your application is linked, you will get emails. There are a few threads on the forum to help, or you can try googling: "mycic link application" (thread: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/linking-application-to-cic-account-t451233.0.html ).

Your GCMS notes will be at least 30 days old when you get them...
