I think CPC Mississauga can process it for you. Remember all the inland cases go through Mississauga anyway.. And it can take 10 days for them to answer the CSE. In that time, you could have driven it to their office (or courier -- myself, I would drive the 45 minutes down the road just to see if I can drop paperwork off before allowing a courier to do it -- that's just me). Keep in mind that it might take them 30 days to open the envelope too. So you might want to include a short letter to advise them this is the real paper to the one you scanned and submitted. That's what I did with the PCC.

The call centre leaked to me that the PCC letter with a Vegreville address may just mean that our case is being relocated to Vegreville to be sped up. That's why they said the Vegreville CPC was on the letter. The idea is, when the case gets there, the PCC is already there waiting. But take that last bit with a grain (it's an opinion).

I would double check that you are able to drop off at Mississauga - from what i understood they only take couriers for permanent residency stuff. I would also driven myself there to drop off my application if that was the case as its only 5 mins down the road instead of spending $50 to get it same day delivered so i could get it in ASAP.


Also if someone could please answer this, and i apologize if this has been answered before... Do the notes that you request from CIC cost anything to request?

There is a reciever there -- you could always try! I am aware they only really want couriers or mail staff, but I'd still try if it was important! There is no harm in trying! Coming from KWC it's a little more than 5 minutes, but I would make the trek anyway!

browning911 and I put in Privacy Act requests (if the applicant is in Canada, this can be done). You don't have to pay for Privacy Act requests, as it's information you are entitled to (it's about you). If you put in an ATIP request, it's $5.

We are curious if any of the 2016 applicants with a submission date before June 13, 2016 had already paid the Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) with their application fees.

We did this, and we are wondering if anyone else in the possible streamline pot did the same.

yep i paid all fees upfront, the only thing i havent done is medical. im guessing im in the streamlining as my 2nd request for police cert was asked to be sent to vegreville...? and i got approved OWP 26th Aug but not got it in the mail yet so no updates from my end im afraid.

ringlands was your email from cic requiring second police certificate. is it stated there that based on their records you don't have the PCC?

We paid $1040.00 but forgot what it included, we also paid $255.00 for open work permit and approximately $250.00 for medical.

i sent the police cert in with my original application (arrived 11th May) and got the letter on 10th august saying their records show they didnt have it. i didnt order a copy but sent a letter explaining i did send it, a photo of the CSE enquiry and a copy of a cover letter that came with my police cert.

We are all the same. i sent an explanation letter stating i am very certain the i've already submitted it. i sent it including the certified true copy of my PCC in Vegreville AB (received august 12) then after a week i've done CSE attached the scan copy of my explanation letter and certified true copy of PCC.

Until now theres no update.

That's the full package. That medical part is such a rip-off, one last stab before you can soak up some of that free healthcare everyone is always talking about.

We also paid about $1300. It was the application, the sponsorship application, RPRF, and OWP together.

They can ask for the RPRF anytime during the process. I am wondering if paying that fee upfront also helps them in selecting cases to streamline. It will be interesting to see
