Hi guys, we just got a letter saying my husband meets the eligibility requirements and we just have to wait for the medical to be approved, which is already approved, and the background and security, which says it's in process. I think this means he got his AIP right?

If so, what's the next step?

Actually they don't need background and security check to issue AIP, it comes in the second stage of processing. And security checks are different from simple background checks. I wish they are completed already and you get DM very soon.

So how come when I call IRCC, It says review of eligibility has not been started yet , medical was successful, we are doing your background check.

W is for Work Permits.

please remind me, I think you got AIP already?
What the automatic message is telling you is the same as what is displayed on your mycic account which becomes more and more notorious for not being undated. If you got AIP, you are eligible!

I can over look this one...
Looks like it's whiskey o'clock...

I can't guarantee you'd have a landing in August... but I can bet with reasonably certainty that it's before then...

I am a believer. That said, I know you will be ok. I had to do schedule A in march n April for vegreville n Mississauga. I also had to do imm5406
Then I had to clarify the the guy in Afghanistan who was a police. Wasn't me. I overcame that with some encouragement
